A young man with headphones around his neck exited a grey saloon outside a huge mansion. He took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell. A young woman, probably in her mid thirties opened the door with a serious face : "No Mrs. We are not expecting anyone today so I have no....Oh!DJ its you!"
The look on her face changed to awe and admiration instantly. She led the way, walking rather fast. "Granny, see who we have here."
An old woman, probaly in her 70's was sitting on the sofa reading a Bible. She gave a skeptical look as the woman moved to the side and revealed who it was.
"My baby!Oh, when did you arrive?"She stood up rather fast for her age and hugged her son who hadn't said a word till then.
"Oh now you wont answer me? Then I'll remind you that I still got my game." She grabbed a long stick that was placed on the tea table and started chasing her son around.
He laughed hysterically and threw himself on the sofa. "Sister, why is it that you never come to my rescue everytime granny bosses me around?"
"Dear little bro, its your own indaba that you always act this way. You know granny will never let you off that easily." She laughed hard, patting his back lightly. " Uh!I pity you."
"Mom,hahahah, I give up. Mom!" He rolled to the floor shielding his ribs with both arms. "Come on ma! I'm sorry," tears were flowing from his cheeks, and his fair complexion had turned pinkish. "I love you the most, and I wont try testing you anymore. I just though you have aged."
"This kid!Why could your own mum be old? do you know son that to me you'll always be five years old?" She said softly, sitting down. "Come now and chat to me."
"Mum, I'd love to but I have to take a bath and go help dad. I bet he is already in the farm."
"Yah, you know how he is. He never rests. Like father like son!"
"Oh my my! Now that I'm home, I have to deal with my business and forget the doctor thingy," he smiled like a crazy man. He headed for his room and then the bathroom shaking his head and smiling to himself.
"Lilly, whats wrong with your brother?" the old lady was frowning at the scene.
"I got no idea.I'm as surprised as you are."
"I hope he found love. This boy pays no attention to girls, at some point I thought he was left (gay)!"
"Mum," Lilly's face was serious and so was her tone. "You nearly sent yourself to your grave early becausd of those thoughts.Remember?"
"Mmm, that was really foolish of me. However, do you think we have to tell him that his blood uncle was here?"
"Nope. The last time he saw them was when he was three. Why would we sent the Mosiuoa son to them? Their son died at three, Limo is my brother." Lilly pursed her lips into a straight line, tears forming in her eyes when she recalled how her brother looked like when he first came to their house.

After his bath "Limo" or "DJ" as others called him changed into a pair of overalls and gumboots. He was prepared to help his father and hit the streets later.
"Mom, I'll be leaving now. I promise to dedicate tomorrow to you if dad has no assignment for me." He shouted over the sound of the tractor.
His mother and sister watched as he drove away. They looked at each other in bewilderment. Even after so many years in Cuba, he had never changed. He still loved that tractor more than any car. How could he not?
The tractor was his 16th birthday gift. When his father realised his dedication to the farm. However, theh had no idea that it wasn't the only reason he loved the noisy tractor.
He loved it for its noise. Yes, the nise exactly.
It helped him avoid stupid situations with ladies. He was handsome, truely handsome; from a rich family and on top of that the only heir. It was known to everyone that his sister Lilly had married into a middle class family, but her husband worked his fingers to the bones for hos family.
First it was said he did not want to loose face before his in-laws. However, he had no idea that his wife was no spoilt princess, they complemented each other in the their duties and made their business global. They were in entertainment industry, not as celebrities, but as investors, thus they did not need anything from Lilly's family.
who would refuse such a catch?
Limo had to pass a lot of by-standers as he headed for the farm. He had no idea how everyone knew he was back.
And the reason for his visit? well, he scratched his head wat the thought of her. He snapped back to reality when someone honked the car's horn at him. He smiled and drove off.

When he arrived at the farm, his old man was sitting beaneath a tree. He looked lost in thought while jotting something down. when he heard a familiar tractor sound he thought he was old, but when the sound got clearer he knew who it was.
"Son!" He stood up and walked hurriedly down the hill.
"Dad!" Limo shouted as he jumped off the tractor and gave his old man a hug.
"Son, you are here. when did you arrive?"
"Today dad. I was fired but had to see the brood brought in for this month."
"Here, lets go.Look at you. you still care about the chicken?"
"Hahahah! Dad, its very important never to forget where we come from. It is said great men reach their destinies by knowing their past."
"Look at you jack of all aces. are you a doctor or a philosopher?"
"Oh, I'm son of the soil and the Mosiuoa's pride."
"You got it right. You are after all my son." A faint of worry could be seen in the old man's eyes, but it lasted only for a second."Here is this month's intake." He said showing him a number on the screen. "If you need to see them alive then you have Lerato to take you there."
