The battles around the Kraken was getting more and more chaotic. The soldiers were no longer moving out of the Kraken. Still, all focused on fighting to defend the possible entry points.
The Kraken was likened to a closed shell. It had no open doors to lead it inwards but only had small ports to launch the Armors and Exoskeletons or even the soldiers to battle. But apart from that, the exits and entry points in that area were very few. Unless the person knew where these opening were, the person would spend a lot of time looking for these specific hidden entry points.
Poor Rai.
I guess I'll explain the fourth dimension here with Rai's powers. Rai's third and his Unlocking allows him to see beyond the third dimension. And the science that is applied to his body allows him to interact with it. Seeker can only do so much, but this Rai can actually move in it.
Normal cultivation stories use the ability to bend space for abilities like teleporting, but to keep my story in line with the whole "dimension tech" format, I am using their ability to manipulate and move in the fourth dimension.
Imagine playing Pokemon (DS era games or earlier)... But while playing you have the ability to move "UP", not forward-backward which is the 'up and down' arrow in your controller. UP as in move one level/floor higher like using the stairs.
However, what if you did that but the next floor isn't designed? If you did that, you move in an undesigned area and fall to limbo. So basically Rai can do something like that in the third dimension. But if he cannot "see" where he is going, he'd basically be lost in the fourth dimension forever like your character going beyond the designed scope. So it's something like that.
I really recommend watching the short video by Carl Sagan on youtube about the 4th dimension. He illustrates a two-dimension being traveling in the third dimension better. You take that and imagine Rai moving in the fourth.
Hope my explanation helps.
