Capítulo 166: Richie’s Test
"A freak alright. This is good." Richie laughed.
"So… Aliens? This is an interesting turn of events. Also, please call me by my current name. Sammy Theoden. Aside from you, there are quite a few who would be willing to kill me."
"Alright. You seemed pretty cautious about your identity."
"If I'm not mistaken, a few of those aliens should want me dead. Hence, if they discover me, they could discover you."
"Oh, I see. Interesting. I should report that to all teams. No wonder you went through such extents to change your physical features and even changed your eyes. If it weren't for your strange frequency, I wouldn't have found you. Still, this is exciting. I wonder how different the future me would have been if I had a Wolf Pack?"
"Future you? Time travel already exists? Impossible. Then it should be… Seeker Carlean?"
"Oh… So you can even discern such secrets?" Richie was thoroughly impressed.
Shuffler laughed.

Rapture_Tales Sorry, but I couldn't resist. This is admittedly one filler chapter. (Although various important details are revealed here) But I really have to get this out of my system.
I guess I envisioned my little Sammy to be someone like me and my wife. So she'd have my wife's intellect (she's a doctor) and my clumsy mistakes put together. I enjoyed writing this chapter and somehow I guess it was therapy for me, so to speak.
Since little Sammy would have both of the best traits me and my wife has, I guess I sorta wanted to imagine him as some hot-shot deduction expert. Of course,this was an epic fail. Although we really have Richie to blame here for. I mean he was just too demanding and strict.
This is also a little jab at those deduction shows. TV makes it look so simple but in reality, the art of deduction which is on Sherlock Holmes' level is best left in the imagination and not to be forced in reality.
There is a limit to how much you can really use deduction on.
Anyways, thank you for putting up with my selfishness in this chapter. Hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.
