Capítulo 52: Devastated

Another week went by and Davi still hadn't heard from Sei. She was busy with her review but she was starting to miss him really bad.

She could only whisper the words, 'When will you come back?' to herself.

The house was silent. It felt as if the temperature of it had gone below zero degrees and it was driving her crazy. For the first time since she set foot in the Gray mansion, she felt an indescribable sadness. Mr. Kazuki, the cheerful butler also said goodbye days ago, causing the gloomy clouds to linger persistently at every nook and cranny of the house.

That morning, she again buried herself into the piles of books. The exam was getting closer and studying was indeed a great distraction. Completely immersing herself in her studies caused her to totally ignore the brewing gloomy atmosphere as she became one with the books she was reading.

After five hours, she finally went out and walked towards the garden with her beloved note in her hand.
