Capítulo 189: Blood of a true mate

Shannon freezes on the floor, frightened. At the same time, a warm scent enters her nose. The man is at the top of her. He smells of mud and something else that is helping her relax, although she has no reason to relax. He grasps her hands and squeezes them gently while licking the wound on the curve of her neck. When he raises his head, she meets a beautiful shade of red eyes.

She has seen red eyes before. But the shades of his eyes are not vile. An overwhelming emotion fills her heart. She has not felt this light since the Apocalypse started. Something tells her that everything will be fine. 

Everything will be fine because he is finally here.

"I am sorry that I took so long to find you." He places his hand on her cheek. "From this moment on, I won't let you become sad for a single moment."
