"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." --Marilyn Monroe

"Good morning to you miss beautiful", Christine playfully answered Claire.
Claire giggled, she obviously likes her compliment. Joseph just observed them and a smile slowly formed his lips.
Everything did not escape Celine's eagle-like eyes. She was looking at them from the window of her room. If stares could kill, Christine may be dead by now.
Joseph started the car and slowly drove out of the mansion.
"Big sister, you are more beautiful today", Claire declared happily which made Christine smile and blush a little. Joseph also smiled but maintained a casual look. Claire is very opinionated and vocal at such a young age.
"Thank you! You are more beautiful Claire", Christine said and twisted her body so she can look at Claire in the backseat.
The compliment made Claire giggle and smile broadly showing her baby teeth.
"I am so proud that you are my sister and I am happy that you will be staying with us. Big brother is happy also and that is why he finally agreed to bring me to the beach", Claire said oblivious of the awkward situation between Joseph and Christine.
"I promised and I don't want to break my promises," Joseph said and looked at her at the rearview mirror.
"Yeah you don't but it took you so long to finally bring me to the beach. You were always working", Claire pouted and pretended to be angry.
Joseph chuckled. Claire is brutally honest most of the time.
"I am sorry sweet pea, I was so busy at the farm. I promise to make it up to you", he said and kept on looking at her at the rearview mirror and when he does that, he would also take a quick glance at Christine.
"You are forgiven as long as sister Christine will stay with us forever. You have to be good to her all the time. You have to behave well", Claire said and put her hands on her chest and looked at Joseph in the rearview mirror.
"Yes maám. I have always behaved accordingly, didn't ?" he asked playfully.
"That remains to be seen", Claire declared.
"You promise not to treat sister Christine like the other big girls who visited you?'' Claire asked firmly.
Christine felt a warm feeling swept her heart as she listened to the conversation and wondered what does Claire meant by what she said. She looked at Claire and back to Joseph.
Joseph shrugged her shoulders but Claire understood the look on Christine's face.
"He makes them cry every time they visited him because he tore their clothes", Claire explained innocently.
"I think they fight because when they get out, their hair is messy and their clothes are torn. And if that happens, they cry or very angry", Claire continued.
"Big brother never apologizes to them even if they begged and cried. He just asks Gary to send them home, but never apologized to them after he tore their clothes and made them cry", Claire did not have any intention to stop. She was just stating what she usually sees every time she is at the balcony playing.
"Do you know Donna?'' Claire asked Christine.
"No", Christine answered.
"They had a big fight with big brother one time in his office. Big brother was almost defeated because Donna was already on top of him and he was pushing her away but she won't let go. If I was not there, I wonder what could have happened to big brother", Claire told her with pride in her eyes. She felt proud that she was able to help her brother at that time. She just came from school and she wanted to surprise Joseph with the number of stars she got from her class. When she entered his office, she saw a woman was straddling Joseph who was sitting on his chair. He was pushing the girl which she, later on, knew to be Donna. She felt like her brother is being defeated so she shouted and pulled her out of her brother. Donna came off of Joseph and sorted her clothes and hurriedly left without looking back.
Joseph: "------" he wished Claire would just keep quiet or sleep. She is a blabber just like Jolo.
Christine blushed when she finally understood what Claire meant. She glanced at Joseph who has a defensive look on his face but did not say anything.
"Does that happen all the time?", Christine decided to play along and noticed the amusement on Joseph's eyes. He is not ashamed at all or does not feel remorseful at all of how he treated those women who are obviously head over heels in love with him. She remembered Donna, the one he was flirting with one rainy afternoon in that cottage. She thought they were a pair but wondered why it seemed the other way around.
"Most of the time", Claire said nonchalantly.
"Only when a girl visits him", she made a clarification.
Joseph is amused by Claire and Christine's reaction.
"So how is school Claire?'', Christine diverted her attention. She felt awkward so she had to find another topic.
"It is okay. At least the boys there do not tear our clothes. They are friendly to us girls", she said directly.
Christine almost choked and when she looked at Joseph, he was smiling mischievously. Her face is getting red.
"But don't worry big sister. I love you and big brother love you too", Claire said proudly.
Christine coughed, she almost choked. Joseph handed her a bottle of water. She took it and drank from it. She thanked him afterward. Joseph held her gaze but she diverted it quickly. She felt uncomfortable all of a sudden.
"That is true big sister", Claire who has no plan of stopping removed her seatbelt and came closer and positioned herself in between Joseph and Christine.
