i like this novel but its getting increasingly hard to read, mc out here killing bosses left and right and not leveling up. i get it requires alot of xp but these are freaking bosses and he monopolizing most of if not all the xp. kinda feels like the novel is losing the game elements.

I love eve about this book the characters are fun and I like the ideas and power system. I did have a question for the author in which would he ever make another novel but as opposed to swords and cultivation it would be more like a reincarnated wizard plays a be game? I know it would probably have the same beat as this story but I would love a version that delves more into magic
This is my first serious review, and even if I know the the author probably wont'tread that I just wanted to say that this is my favourite novel and to keep going!
One of the best novels of this genre. Similar to RSSG, but a lot better and way more consistent story. For anyone needing good gramma, this novel has that, no mistakes that would bug you. Worldbackground is constantly neing built the more he explores. The only sad thing for me is i think story/events move a bit slowly and for me would be preffered some faster pace in some of them, but thats just for me personally.

too many plot holes. how is it his friends are keepin up with him in lvls...... feels very dull reading vr part. i only was happy to read the irl part of the novel and i dropped it.
I don't know what to say about this but that its terrible down to center binding
too much explaining, fights are not well thought out, literally put me to sleep while trying to read
I really enjoyed this novel. Not a super original idea and not without its flaws, but for me the flaws were overshadowed by the good parts of the novel. Even though it's not super original to have a mc enter a vr game with a huge cheat/advantage over everyone else, the twist for this one is pretty interesting and makes a much better story than the ones where it's just someone sent back to the past with knowledge of the future. I really like the connection between the real world and game in this one. His background as a reincarnated cultivator really works well. I like his outlook, how he treats the other characters, his personality, and mostly like his methods. The author does a good job of creating interesting and immersive interactions with some of the side characters. There are many good moments/interactions, not all necessarily for mc. Mc does mostly logical/efficient things, but there are definitely times when he's reckless. For the most part, it can be covered by him being just that op that it's not really reckless for him, more that it's just unnecessary/excessive. His cheat is really good and even though sometimes it's a bit too convenient that he has the exact skill for the situation, it makes sense that he would know so many abilities given his background. Now for my complaints, I almost dropped the novel a couple times because these things got on my nerves so much. I skipped/skimmed quite a few chapters that I see as filler because they don't involve or really impact mc at all. Also, every time he collaborates with a group unfamiliar with him, he basically baits/provokes them and they always trash talk/offend him because he's doing impossible stuff. It seems like he goes out of his way to make other people cause conflict with him, which is really annoying. Sometimes there are reasons he had to do it without explaining, but not always. And it seems like the reactions from the people that cause the conflict are over the top/unreasonable too. Like 1 questionable thing happens and they immediately hate him and take action/insult him instead of trying to figure out what happened/why first. Not saying this won't happen sometimes, but seems like it happens every time which is annoying. Overall, I really enjoyed this one and it's one of my favorites on the site for sure. As I said, the good really outweighs the bad so I can confidently give it a 5 star rating. Read up to current, ch 900 and will definitely revisit it once there are more chapters.
I love this novel but every time I pay for advanced chapters at the beginning of the month, don't get any new chapters for days and if I do is only one. Author need to step or else you are going to lose a lot of fans.
Out of the last 40 web novels that I have read this one has the greatest number of illogical, random, meaningless character ineractions. 9 out of 10 character choices are totally irrational and not how any human anywhere would act.

I’m confused is this a Chinese novel or what cause it has American names but the characters totally behave like Chinese characters with all those stupid cliches and BS.
This is truly a surprisingly excellent web novel. The beginning was clinched but competently written so I stuck with it and boy was I rewarded. the attention to detail in the game world is magnificent. each ability, item, quest, and technique is clearly stated, with no ambiguity, which pays off when we get to the action and combat scenes. I would say the action scenes in this novel are easily top 3 all time on this platform. They are simply easy to visualize and the forces of cause and effect are respected. Azroth is one of the few cool, mature protagonists who knows his limits and doesn't rely on jarring plot armor to nail him out. Also his maturity is appreciated in that he is not aggressively seeking a harem and sniffing after women like a down bad teenager. His dogged goal oriented nature makes him a character you can root for without reservation. And finally, the great mystery and expansive nature of the game world will keep u coming back for more. Along with the villains who aren't simply foils for the protag, this novel is a must read. I wont slander other webnovels but if ur reading some of the top ten current webnovels and not reading Realm of Myth and Legends, see a psychiatrist. Hail Daoistzenfeng!!!!!!!!!
Through the ocean of trash that we call the “top rated novels” in this platform, this one is truly deserves being top rated. Atleast 845 chapters in it is, I can’t speak for the future chapters yet. The only critique I have is that some arcs, like the current secret world arc, take too many chapters and that the level progression of “players” seem too fast given that it’s only been a month or so into the release of the game. These are only minor issues though, I still very much enjoy the story.
800 chapters & its still like 3 weeks since game release, can u go any slower smh skipped so many in-between chapters but story still made sense cuz its like 100 chapters = 2 days
I like this novel from the bottom of my heart, and it's been 3 months since the chaps update stopped and I'm afraid the author has dropped this story. I really love it so much and I don't have any news from the author, did something happen? I would be happy if you @DaoistZenFeng let us know what's going on!!
