This book is perfect for those who are looking for a heavy book to read. It's filled with drama and face slapping but isn't cliche. In fact it's the exact opposite. As the readers we get to understand the FL on a deeper level and can sympathize with her. There aren't a lot of cliches and it surely keeps us on our toes. This book is quite bloody so for those who are uncomfortable with those things, this book isn't for you. But if you're a sadist like me then you'll love it. This book has a perfect combination of revenge, angst, drama, and fantasy. It really plays with the way you think and her schemes are top notch. The schemes she uses will leave you thirsting for more. It's a refreshing read and you won't regret picking it up. A real page turner! This book is a little underrated to let's help this book climb up in the ranks! 10/10

Rating: 4.5 stars. -- I have to say, this novel is like 100% better than most of the typical reincarnation novels I've read so far. Is it perfect? No, but it has lots of potential as well as being exciting with a main character that you can't help but feel for and root for. At first, I admit I had a hard time connecting w/ the MC.... she was a bit too cold and merciless, but as the story goes on, you go on to find out that behind all of her bloodthirstiness, there is a vulnerable child merely wishing for a friend, someone to love and who will love her back. I find the way the author slowly shows us her complex character is well done and truly makes you root for the character. Also I love her interactions with all of the usual characters that would be MLs in other stories like this. I do suspect that one of them might be one of the MLs (altho even if there is a tag, I'm hoping this story isn't reverse-harem, or if there is one that's it properly done), but even then the way the MC deals w/ them is by being cold + vicious + annoying them to death w/ her sharp tongue. It's so fun to read tbh, and gratifying bc usually the cold and merciless 'assassin' type MCs in these stories always end up being played around by the oh-so-powerful ML and even blushing bc of them *rolls eyes* (But then again the MC is stronger than all of them, even now lol.) The MC is very OP, however, which can make it feel like there is barely any struggle in the story. But she does make mistakes, she's somewhat too arrogant at times - but I find that makes her all the more human tbh. She's also extremely smart, but sometimes I do admit I find it a little too unreal. Actually, I'm even speculating that after she's done w/ the revenge at the general's house, and starts traveling the world she'll meet actual opponents that can actually stand up to her - which would be nice to see. The general's household feels sort of like her playground tbh, like her first stop in this new world, for her to use a stepping stone and to strengthen herself. As well, I truly applaud the author for the schemes in this story. Not because they're super ingenious or anything, altho they are devious, but because they don't use r*pe. I am so tired of reading about these reincarnation stories (whether modern / ancient) w/ r*pe being used in them as a mere plot device - granted not all of them are set in worlds w/ magic or cultivation but still, it's so disgusting and disrespectful to use something so traumatic and awful as r*pe as a mere plot device. It's even worse when it's in cultivation / magic worlds like this one bc it's like.... there's freaking magical powers, etc and you couldn't come up with something else???? I'm really hoping the author doesn't use it in the future, but for now, just this sole reason makes me really enjoy this story very much. One last thing....I'm hoping the author shows us more of the world soon, a world full of magic is so cool and worth exploring even if the MC can't use it herself or doesn't need to. But I guess we have to wait for her poison (s) to be healed and for her to deal w/ the general. Anyway, thank you author for sharing your work with us, I really loved it and even binged it all in one seating - which was well worth it, I tell you!

Hi, I'm in_awe. The author of this novel. I know, shameless, shameless, why am I also giving a rating? Well, tbh, I really put a lot of work into the plot, schemes, and developing the characters. I won't say about anything else but I do want to say I had a lot of fun creating this novel and I'm happy I took the time to. This story is different: while it starts out typical, it develops into something I can proudly call my own. Although slightly bloody, I hope I was able to take you into a whole new world. This is my first time writing and I really hope you enjoyed it. *side note: I LOVE YOU, MY READERS! I hope you coninute to stay as this evil author twists your brain up & down and steal your heart (you'll never catch me to get it back).

I don't know about the stability of updates since I read all the chapters in a day, but it definitely deserves the benefit of the doubt. This novel is so awesome, and the FL is exactly the kind of kick a** character I love reading about. My favourite thing is that it's action packed and she's not overly lenient towards people who treat her badly. I'm liking both of the potential MLs and at this point I don't know enough to choose a favourite. For now they're both interesting. I liked the fact that the FL is still seen as 'trash' because she doesn't use powers the way the others in her new home/world/dimension do. This is different to the vast majority of transmigration novels as she only uses her own unique powers as of now. She's not weak to start off with which is nice to see, and I like that she doesn't trust others so easily. I would highly recommend this novel to all, it's a bit unique, so well written, and has a strong powerful FL. Keep up the good work author, you deserve more recognition.

Great original story! The author did a great job of weaving an intricate and complex plot right from the start, but has been doing an amazing job at keeping the plot moving! Too many authors get bogged down with unnecessary drama and side monologuing/internal thoughts. The MC is totally badas*! Can’t wait to read more and see more interactions between the MC and ML, and see the MC faceslap all those abusers!

I started this story from a different site. My overall analysis is that if you like intrigue with a plot within a plot this is for you. If you like a MC who has a very vicious streak with everyone trying to kill her and vice versa try this story as well as killing spree. If you are into gore and killing in just about every other chapter Mask of a Siren is your story. I cannot honestly give this story full marks for these reasons yet its interesting. This story will be in my library for now.
