"Third POV"
Kyoshi looked around the room after introducing himself. The class room was cylindrical in design and was built like a auditorium with the front portion where a teacher would be lecturing being lower and remaining portion being step higher with each column.
in each column was desk and a chair where three children could be seated simultaneously. As he looked around the room he saw few familiar faces among the crowd. He saw the ino-shika-cho trio who were seated together. They were behaving as he would expect, the Nara was looking bored plopping his head on his hand, Akimichi was eating some kind of food and the yamanaka was trying to strike up a conversation among the two.
He also saw stick in the mud faced Fugaku and expression less face of mikoto. They were seated far away from each others like in different corner of the room.
'Seems there is not much of a friendship among the future spouses.'
The teacher seeing that kyoshi had nothing more to express, sent him to sit. He sat at the top corner at the back of the room near a window. He checked around to see if he knew anyone else just to find a mop of spiky blonde hair few rowss ahead of him. And that was the future flash, Minato Namikaze After finding the future fourth Hokage himself he checked around the room for minato's future wife. But there was no one with hair even remotely red. Kyoshi had been inducted before kushina was brought from uzushio to become the jinchuriki. that meant the second world war still on going. from what he could hear around the village, the war was at a ceasefire and beside few skirmishes at the border; the cloud was also waiting for something. The sannin seemed to have been crowned with their titles.
This leaves him with a choice, should he save uzushiogakure or not. The saving would be easy, he will just have to send an anonymous letter to the village and uzu can prepare in advance for the invasion.
'what to do? what to do? what to do!'
"well I'll see after kushina's arrival on that choice",Kyoshi muttered.
After informing kyoshi about the class curriculum which he completely tuned out, the teacher started on the day's lesson of history. Kyoshi paid extra attention to the details as there are many gaps in his knowledge about the elemental nation. The lesson droned on and on until the bell rang. After that the teacher bid them farewell and left the room in noises.
kyoshi obtained a lot of vital info from the lesson. what he gathered was the first war happened 20 years ago and ended with the death of the first kages. All the involved countries signed an armistice treaty and rested their weapon. The second world war was started by konoha seeking revenge against kumogakure for the assassination of second Hokage. But it escalated quickly. with rest of the countries joining in on the action. A newly emerged country of soragakure also joined and attacked konoha only to be destroyed swiftly. The majority of skirmishes happening in minor countries destroying them after the contact. among them was ame where hanzo of salamander was a leader.The living legend single handedly stopped all the war happening in his country and sent the armies packing. With the help of poison jutsu and salamander summon, he was unstoppable.
The newly named sannins opposed hanzo so that the konoha army could retreat were respectfully praised by Hanzo for Thier bravery and coordination and named them as such. Now with war potential greatly reduced the major countries signed and non interference pact with iron country as neutral ground, they all retreated.
As he was thinking about the info he gained, someone made himself known and that was the yamanaka he saw earlier with his hand extended,"Hello friend! my name is Inoichi yamanaka how do yo do?"
"Hi! I'm kyoshi as I said earlier. I'm quite good. how about you," kyoshi took the extended hand and shook it.
"I'm fine as well. so how do you feel about your first lesson?" Inoichi asked.
"it was interesting. but I don't think I'll be able to take that everyday. that lecture was too monotonous." kyoshi complained.
Inoichi nodded his head and smiled."wasn't it ? well anyway, let me introduce you to my friends. this is shikaku Nara and chouza Akimichi" then he turned toward the duo who came with him, "and guys this is kyoshi."
"Hello I'm kyoshi. nice to meet you." and kyoshi politely greeted.
"Hello I'm chouza. same here" the fat one introduced himself while lanky guy just yawned and waved.
"So, what is next on the menu?" kyoshi asked about the class schedule.
"well we have geography after this. then target practice. that's all for today." Inoichi answered.
"you forgot sparring" shikaku pointed out.
"And why do you remember that? it's not like you ever participate?" this time chouza was the one who questioned.
'Huh I thought he would be peaceful like his son. but he seem to be an aggressive one.' kyoshi mused at that.
"well I remember because I can just sleep quietly for a while without anyone yelling at me during that." shikaku said casually.
"As expected of you shikaku" Inoichi teased.
'yes as expected of him. now we just need him to reply with some forms of 'troublesome'. that would be funny.
"Bothersome blonde" shikaku muttered under his breath.
They all laughed at that.
After that event the remaining day passed quite peacefully. He attended the geography lesson which was as boring as he expected. During the shuriken practice, he received ten kunai and shuriken to attack a wooden target. He attacked with enough force to sink the weapons on the target peppered on outer circles of the target. He could have easily hit bullseye with all of them but instead he went and only made sure to only perform enough to pass.
But what he didn't expect was most of the children not even being to his the wooden pole. only some like minato and Fugaku hit bullseye while rest were worse than kyoshi. He thought if rest of them were also pretending to be weak but he quickly squashed that thought down.
'Well they are children after all. what more can you expect?'
the target practice was followed by sparring where he trounced the opponents. well they were mostly civilians so no Biggie there.
except minato and Fugaku whom he refused to spar to prevent them from speculating his true power. He made an excuse of how he was tired and forfeited. As expected of Fugaku he looked down on him like someone beneath and sniffed his nose. While minato just looked disappointed.
'Fuck! this piece of shit is looking down on me.' kyoshi cursed in his heart.'and this ikemen bastard looking at me like I killed his dog or something.'
'These bastards are going to lose their wives at this rate.'

The rest of the sparring went smoothly. mikoto absolutely milled the opponents. while chouza and Inoichi took their opponents easily. And as for shikaku, well what can you expect? he just gave up end of story.
The final match between Fugaku and minato was pretty long but finally minato won by a punch to the face and knocked out Fugaku.
After that everyone was dismissed and everybody returned home with hurt body while some with hurt pride. kyoshi's parents were waiting for him at the gate and waved at him after seeing him exit. kyoshi then bid his new friends goodbye and returned home. kyoko asked him about his day and got a ok as an answer in return. They all returned home happily.
after reaching his room,kyoshi summoned some clones to memorize the history and geography books. There was no way in hell he is going to attend the class to listen to some guy drone on. It took almost no time at all. after an hour or so with the help of sharingan he completely memorized all the books. He will attend the class once or twice a week when there is sparring lesson from now on and send a clone rest of the days.
He still had a lot to achieve, before he became genin and he is not going to waste time lollygagging. so he went straight to clan library to receive some jutsus. There he picked few elemental jutsus for all elements one for each element. He also took a book on how to use sharingan. He could have learned by himself but he wanted some outward opinion on it. There were a lot of books on genjutsu and how to apply genjutsu with sharingan.
But the book he wanted the most was books on Uchiha fuinjutsu where they can make seals visible only to sharingan that thing was OP AS HELL. He searched around for any record on flying raijin jutsu of second Hokage but only thing he could find was the kunai with formula engraved on it. So all he could do was scan the seal formula with his sharingan. He traced it on a paper and then hid it in his clothes.
After that he took all the books to the counter to register them only to receive receive ridicule from the librarian. still the librarian marked the book on his name and sent him along his way.
Kyoshi was not angry at all.
why would he get angry at some random NPCs? they were just meat shields for the leaders after all.
So kyoshi left the library. He sealed all the books in a scroll and went back to his home. There he unsealed the books and summoned one clones to read each book, in total eight clones were summoned while he sat and started to scan the flying raijin seal himself. The seal was complex, there was quite a lot to characters he did not know and a unfamiliar seal matrix on top of that. It seems he won't be figuring it out anytime soon. He will need to access the konoha database for fuinjutsu for that it seems. As konoha is ally of uzushio, uzu has shared a lot of knowledge with konoha and vice versa. there should be some record of character details used in the seal.
kyoshi sighed and put the seal formula away for now. Until he can access that record he cannot experiment with it so for now it was in hiatus.
Kyoshi then brought out a scroll on shunshin. well if he can't be 'the flash'. He will become the 'flicker' for now.
For now, it will do.
AN:: and finished. how is it? good? bad? or meh?
well anyway yesterday I wasn't able to update because I was too tired. I had to drive for few hours to a hospital. Then waited few hours more only to find out the doctor went for lunch and waited more. After finally meeting the doctor and returning home driving another few hours, it was already 8 PM. I was thinking I would update the chapter, but I got stuck on how Inoichi will greet and how kyoshi will reply and searching the internet for some clues I fell asleep like that. phone on my hand and lying on my bed. when I woke up it was already 7 AM. so I wrote this chapter an hour or two after that.
anyway, many people have been asking that the reason why MC was late in being admitted. but really he isn't. Hear me out first we all know that Naruto and the group were 12 when they graduated. Naruto was admitted early by sandaime but failed twice before mizuki incident which was third fail. so with four years of education 8 is appropriate age to get admitted it so I think...what about you guys.
And people I need a name for the teacher. I can't seem to come up with a name for him unless you want to name him something like rob or dick or Harry or something like that. comment on this paragraph, the first name will be used so who reads this first gets to choose the name and the winner will be mentioned. so choose wisely unless you want to be that guy.....
so for romance I don't know much so it will be a long time before that happens but we also have a lot of time before MC matures so untill then becoming friends who develop into something more would be good I guess.
one more thing, what should I do about the character development? should I make some random event happen? you know missions where bonds of friendship gets tested or something. it will definitely help for character growth.
Finally, bye for now. next chapter will be tomorrow so better give me that name. and also most of the character name will be chosen like this.
