Capítulo 21: Chapter Twenty-One

After I left the infirmary I walked back to my office to do work. However the small girl, Rose, lingered in my wary mind. She was the daughter of my fiance and was incredibly frail. Her mother was currently hiding Rose's own dire condition from her, thinking she could find away to fix it, but as amazing as she is I doubt she can. The Royal family has all attributes, however they do not have as much boundless Mana as Rose does, and it is eating away at her lifespan. As of now it isn't noticable, but it will only get worse. I only could frown at the thought of the small girls death. I didn't know her yet, but of she passed, I was certain my beloved Alty would go with her. Even if Alty didn't die immediately she would be a shell of what she was, and I couldn't allow that. Not ever, and with that poison... Her chances get lower and lower each day... The King, her god-father, was searching far and wide for a cure, or something to slow the deterioration of her body, but it was unlikely to occur. Rose wouldn't get to live longer than sixteen at this rate if she wasn't careful. The King was furious currently, not only with the ransacking of her office, which in my opinion that child never should have been employed, the poisoning of a pen? Seriously? From what I have heard he's even more set on finding the perpetrators and slowly torturing them.
