When Ye Mo returned to his cave in the Spirit Mountain, he opened up a secret compartment in the wall of the cave, hiding his Sky Blood Spear's spearhead. The handle of the Sky Blood Spear was broken, hence he had to hide the spearhead first. Carrying around a broken Sky Blood Spear with him would no doubt attract suspicions. 

Just as Ye Mo prepared to leave the cave, Li Suifeng, Ling Xue, and Tong Qian met up with him. 

"Ye Mo, our potential-testing missions have arrived – killing armored spirits in the City of Death. What about you?" Ling Xue was excited as she spoke. They had already been in the Qingyun League for quite a number of days and were excited that they could finally start working on missions. 

"What? All of your missions are also to slaughter armored spirits and collect their spirit essences at the City of Death?"
