Capítulo 70: "Going Back on His Words"
After I went down I spot his mother arranging dishes on the dining table and I hurriedly ran to help her. I softly said, you should have called me, why are you doing this alone mother?" I realized after calling her mother that it naturally came from my mouth like I am very familiar with her, or I should say this body is very familiar with this lady.
She looked lovingly at me and took my hands in hers and said, Are you happy now, Is Damon treating you nicely or is he like before? Tell me everything and I will help you, my daughter."
I was moved by her words but I couldn't speak my mind because of the current situation between him and her so I smiled and replied: "Dont worry mother I know how to tame him now, you only need to take care of yourself, leave the rest to me, ok".
"OK" and we arranged the table soon after Damon walked downstairs and sat on the head chair like a king and I couldn't help but snort at him which he noticed and calmy said, Come sit here and let's eat breakfast". Although I didn't want to still I had to sit beside him.
I was sitting on his left while mother sat on his left and we started eating peacefully mother was also happy that we were harmonious but in reality, it was all fake which made me sad because I don't want her to feel bad because of his bad son.
After eating I helped the mother to take her medicines and said her that had worked, so I will head out as I was walking towards the door he grabbed my hand and instinctively I wanted to snatch my hand but he exerted more pressure and said "Let's go together I will drop you, after all, you are working in my firm" and smirked.
At last, I couldn't reject and only followed him to his car. We sat and I wanted to ask him something but he was looking at his phone. I tried calling him but I wasn't able to make any sound so he said: "If you want to say something please do because I am doing something very important".
I murmur "Important my foot, must be looking at other girls stupid demon" but I couldn't voice out this and said," I want to ask you about something is it ok to ask here?"
He finally looked up at me and then glanced at front shortly after that his driver parked at the side and left us alone and now he looked at me while crossing his hand waiting for me to speak. I got a little scared but still, I have to speak for the sake of my mother so I said: "As you know I am married to you, now can you please release my mother". I saw his expression changing, so I quickly added "You don't need to worry that I will run away as I have signed the contract, and again I will also take care of your mother... so please stick to your words and release her".
Damon said, "I see you have become restless but don't worry your mother will meet you soon when the times come, just wait till then".
I couldn't believe him I did everything that he said but he is not sticking to his words, I was fuming with anger and I exploded "Are you even a man going back on your words, I am doing everything according to the contract and now you are taking advantage of my weakness, don't think just because you are resourceful I will follow you".
He grabbed my chin and dragged my face close to his and said "And what will you do if I go back on my words hmmm? She dragged his hand away and said "I will reveal the truth of our marriage to your mother, and we will see if this convinces you to return my mother".
He angrily forced me against the window and said "I dare you to that and I promise you will never see your mother in this life". His eyes were deep as it will swallow anything and everything but still, I shooked his hands off my shoulder and said "If you will not take me to my mother I will not return to your house, goodbye".
I opened the door and slammed it behind me, walking aimlessly on the road.
