Capítulo 12: His beloved daughter
From the east of the Dark Forest, a hasty foot steps could be heard in the silent night within the forest.
Shu Ren who had received the news of the assassination, hurriedly went on the direction of the manor.
Running forward to the manor, he felt the wind rushed to the south direction.
It took him only a second to decide to go over that direction, since Shu Ren was sure that what he felt was the aura of the Lord and thought that Huang Ryu might have tried to escaped from the manor but has suffered from an ambushed on his way.

For the meantime, West of Rae Gu..
Bai Rou also speedily ran towards the manor, but also stopped as he could sense the Lord's aura fighting in the south direction.
[I hope his safe.] Clenching his fist tight, Bai Rou abruptly accelerated his steps towards the south direction. He wanted to go to his side as soon as possible since he knows his current condition very well.

In front of Rae Gu, the assassins' face turned pale as they look at the mass of elemental force at the tip of her sword.
It was out of their expectations that Rae Gu could use the Wind Breaker's ability.
But what shocked them the most was that apart from the Wind Breaker's ability to amassed the wind, it also gathered a spark of something alike to electricity.
[Lightning?] The leader's heart pounded after seeing that aside from the wind element, there was also a sparked of lightning mixed with it.

He thought that the humans had already obliterated the clan of the beast that could control the lightning, but now in front of him was a woman who could actually command the element of lightning.
The Leader couldn't see the silhouette of the man on the back of Rae Gu and all he could see was a golden light surrounded her.
The handsome man in the backed of Rae Gu smirked after seeing the astounded expressions on their faces.
"Now, its time to attack." He now urge Rae Gu to released the force and attack the enemies.
Rae Gu wield the sword with force and shoot the huge ball of wind and lightning towards the enemies.
"Run!" The Leader commanded his subordinates to escaped from the attack, but five of them was slow on their steps and caught by the attack.
Their end was wretched as their body were shredded by the wind and at the same time they were electrocuted by the lightning.
Shu Ren were only a few meters away from the battlefield when he heard a miserable howls, so he rapidly went over to the site.
Upon arriving, what greeted him was a gory scene. It was ghastly to looked at, the blood was splattered everywhere and an unidentifiable corpses was scattered on the ground.
Shu Ren saw a man running towards the north direction and the other towards the west.
He quickly ran towards the man who were nearer to blocked his escaped and attacked him decisively with a fire.
"Ahhhh!" The man painfully shriek as he was attack unprepared by Shu Ren, so he was not able to defend himself and his body was burned until it turned to ashes.
Shu Ren wanted to pursue the other man but he was stopped by a man's ethereal voice.
"Son of Gu Ren." The silhouette of a handsome man that was formed from the golden force was carrying an unconscious woman on his arms.
After releasing the powerful attack earlier, Rae Gu faint due to exhaustion. That attack drained all her energy and the man caught her body before falling on the ground and carried her gently in his arms.
Shu Ren stopped on his tracks after being called, he looked towards the source of the voice and saw a transparent image of a handsome man that was formed by a golden force.
His legs trembled and he dropped on his knees to the ground after seeing the man. "Your Hi..."
"Shhh." The man hushed him from talking and curved his lips into a smile. "Son of Gu Ren, i hope you have been well."
Shu Ren who was on his knees nodded his head like he was pounding a spice.
The man smiled, he looked towards Huang Ryu before turning his eyes to Rae Gu. "It seems that my daughter has already chosen a companion."
"Your daughter?" Shu Ren was gobsmacked by the news. His eyes moved between the man and Rae Gu. He never expected that her real identity was really no ordinary. No wonder that Huang Ryu couldn't do anything to pry any information from Rae Gu's pearl.
"Yes, she's my beloved daughter." Thr man looked at Rae Gu tenderly before he continued to talked with Shu Ren.
"Son of Gu Ren, I beseech you to protect her in my stead. Take her out from the Beast Kingdom and hide her within the Human Kingdom for now." The man looked at Shu Ren pleadingly.
"But why..." Shu Ren looked at him puzzledly.
"Her identity was very sensitive and there were traitors among the beast clan, so i can't put her to any harmed."
Shu Ren pondered since he also knows about having a traitor who were in cahoots with the evil humans within their very owned Beast Kingdom, but they still don't have any concrete evidence to deal with them.
The man looked at Shu Ren who was pondering and smiled. "I guess that you have a rough idea for who it was."
Shu Ren nodded and sadly stated, "Yes, but we still lacked some proof against them."
The man stared solemnly at Shu Ren, "Son of Gu Ren, i can only entrust her to you. Don't worry, I can conceal your beast aura, so you can mingle with the humans and live like them." The man seriously looked at the woman in his arms and held her carefully.
Shu Ren hesitated and turned his gazed on the lying Huang Ryu.
Understanding what was in Shu Ren's mind, the man reassuringly stated."You don't have to worry about him, his totally fine. He just needed some rest. I have already check his injuries and cured it. Even his old injuries was also now healed."
"You really cured it?" Shu Ren was delighted to hear this good news.
This injury of Huang Ryu, was plaguing him for a long time now, and it rendered him unable to exert his full elemental force when fighting, but since this man had said that it was now cured, Shu Ren believe it wholeheartedly.
Being thankful for his benevolence Shu Ren kowtowed and willingly accepted the task given. "This servant would be willing to heed your command and keep her safe at all times."
In the first place, protecting Rae Gu as their mistress was also his obligation, so now that he also know about her real identity, it would turned out that this will be his great honor to served her.
"Good. I know that i can trust you. Your character was very much alike to you father." The man smiled and released the last force he could mustered to conceal Shu Ren's beast aura.
Upon completely concealing his aura, Shu Ren stood up from the ground and reached out his arms to carry Rae Gu.
After the man handed Rae Gu to Shu Ren, he looked at the distance, "It seems that Jiang Rou's son has already finished his fight."
"Huh?" Shu Ren also looked at the same direction as the man. He remembered that there was an assassin who was able to escaped earlier, but it seems that he was also caught by Bai Rou.
Looking at the transparent golden silhouette of the man, Shu Ren mused to himself. [Is this why he confidently stopped him earlier? It seems that this man had predicted that Bai Rou would be able to meet the last assassin on his way here.]
Shu Ren could only shook his head. This old monsters never ceased to amazed them, the younger generation.
"It's time for you to go. My force will soon desipate, and i can only cover your tracks for a while. So be sure to not let them caught you before passing the border to the human kingdom. I only conceal your aura, so you can still used your elemental force." The man prompted Shu Ren to go on his way, before Bai Rou could arrive.
Shu Ren who was now carrying the unconscious Rae Gu on his arm glimpsed at Huang Ryu and apologetically said. "My Lord, forgive me for not asking for your permission first, but you also gave me the same task. So, i hope that you would treat this as me obeying your command."
Bowing his head, Shu Ren started to ran towards the human territory.
