Lucien's body started to glow. The light in his body moved to his chest. His ribs started to heal rapidly. The cracks and fractures reconnected and slid back through his pierced skin. The fibres of his skin over his chest started to weave into itself slowly resealing the punctured where the ribs protruded a few seconds ago. If you didn't see Lucien's mangled body before, you would have never known that he was even injured.
Lucien's chest started to move up and down as his lungs sucked in air to oxygenate his blood. The pale blue blood in his arteries started to turn red as his heart started to beat again. His oxygenated blood soon finished travelling through his circulatory system turning his once pale skin into a rosy pink. Lucien sat up and vomited black blood onto the wet grass. The rain washed away the evidence of the blood soon after.
"Where am I?" Lucien said as some blood dribbled down his jaw.
A piercing pain ran through his brain as memories belonging to the previous Lucien started to flood his mind.
He analysed the memories that he just got to better understand who's body he was in. After going through the memories he realised what situation he was in.
"This guy is called Lucien too but he died from a fall a few minutes ago." Lucien rubbed his chest where his broken ribs were supposed to be. He has a phantom pain of his ribs piercing his chest from the memories he just obtained.
Lucien remembered the novels he read in the past and came to the conclusion that he had transmigrated into this guy's body after he died.
[Ding! Recovery complete. The host's health is now stable.]
A notification rang in Lucien's head.
'What is that sound. Do I have a system?'
[Ding! I am the level up system.]
'So I really do have a system. Let's see if it works like the novels I've read before. Show me my stats'
[Ding! Stats page opened.]

A transparent display appeared in front of him. The rain fell right through it as if it wasn't there.
After reading the different stats he realised they were similar to the Dungeons & Dragons Stats apart from the ability and skills section. If the stats were the same then;
Strength is how much force your body can exert at a given time, how quick you can run and how athletic you are.
Dexterity is how acrobatic you are, your sleight of hand and how stealthy you are.
Constitution is how much pain you can resist and how long you can hold your breath etcetera.
The difference between intelligence and wisdom is, intelligence is knowing Frankenstein wasn't the monster. Wisdom is knowing Frankenstein was the monster.
Charisma is how Deceptive or persuasive someone is and how agreeable or attractive they look to other people.
'Why is there a +1 on my Constitution?' Lucien asked as he read his stats.
[Ding! After using light heal to heal your life-threatening wounds your Constitution naturally increased.]
After looking at the stats he realised they meant nothing to him since he had nothing to compare them to. 'what are the normal stats for a human? ' Lucien asked the system as he compared the systems interface to what he had read in novels.
[Ding! The normal stats for a human from Earth is 10. But in this world, it would largely depend on your ability. Your intelligence and wisdom come from your soul and not the old Lucien's body, after adding your abilities buffs or debuffs.]
After Reading through the rest of his stats and rereading the old Lucien's memories he got a better understanding of his strength currently. But what confused him was his ability. In Lucien's old memories, it says that he has PhotoKinesis but on the stats page it says I have Electromagnetic Radiation Manipulation. He didn't know why so he asked the system.
'Why does it say electromagnetic radiation manipulation as my ability when in the old memories it says I have photoKinesis?'
[Ding! The old Lucien got his ability wrong. He didn't know that he can manipulate more than just visible light because he could only see visible light. He had already awakened his ability from when he was born but could only unknowingly manipulate low-frequency waves like radio waves, microwaves and infrared before now as they took the least amount of mana to use. To unlock them as skills you need to learn how to control them yourself or unlock them with skill points and they will automatically be added to your skills list.]
As a physicist in his past life, Lucien realised what this meant. Visible light is only around 0.0035% of the electromagnetic spectrum. This means if his ability becomes strong enough, he would be able to control matter and antimatter.
His ability wasn't photokinesis, a rank D support ability. It was electromagnetic radiation manipulation, a level S Control ability. He would be able to control everything but gravity. Well in the future he would...
'Currently, I can only increase my metabolic rate to heal quickly with [Light heal]. And [Visible light manipulation] which lets me control visible light outside my body, to a certain extent. System, what does the beginner mean after my skills?'
[All skills are ranked on if you have reached their peak mastery. At the beginner level, you have 25% mastery in the skill. At the intermediate level, you have 50% mastery in the skill. At expert, you have 75% mastery in the skill and at Max level, you have Full mastery of the skill. At each level after beginner, the skill gains a new effect added to it. Some effects may need another skill to be a certain rank before you can use them.]
After listening to the explanation Lucien got a good idea on how the system worked. He stood up and limped toward the small hole he used to enter the grounds of the mansion. He crawled through the tight gap and carefully covered it back up. After covering the hole up, Lucien walked in a random direction while reading through the old Lucien's memories. Ten minutes later he found his way back the old Lucien's home. In front of him stood a large mansion, twice the size of roses families mansion. When he got close to the front of the mansion's gate, a black man with a black suit and black top hat waited for him under a black umbrella. He opened the gate and greeted Lucien.
" Welcome home young master Lucien, it looks like you got a bit rough when playing outside today, I'll tell one of the maids to get you a bath ready." The suited man said as he nodded towards Lucien with a smile on his face after seeing Lucine's clothes dripping with mud.
Lucien had seen this person while reading the old Lucien's memories. He was Lucien's personal butler Imari, who had looked after Lucien since he was a child. Imari was more of an older brother to the old Lucien than a butler, as Lucien spent more time with him than his parents. Most of the time his parents were travelling for political reasons to gain support for the businesses they owned and to expand the families power. At other times they went out to the habitable zone to hunt monsters to increase their Abilities power and perfect their skills.
"Thank you Imari, you don't have to call me young master when we're alone. " Lucien said as he walked under the umbrella and followed Imari into the mansion.
The inside of the mansion was decorated with many antiques on antique tables and paintings hung on the walls, screaming out at how wealth and rich his family was. Imari rang a small bell he grabbed out of his pocket and a young maid rushed towards him and bowed.
"What can I do for you Master Lucien and Mr Imari." the young maid's sweet voice echoed out in the hall as she asked her question.
"Get a bath ready for the young master." Imari ordered the maid and she swiftly ran towards Lucien's chambers. The light tapping of her feet echoed in the hall.
Lucien was going to walk in the same direction when Imari spoke. "Wait, young master. Your mother has asked to see you when you arrive. " As Imari finished speaking, he walked up the stairs leading to his parent's chambers and Lucien followed from behind.

The_Pen Second chapter in and we've got a system and some info dump.
Expect a training/grinding montage as he gains a couple of new skills.
I'll try and keep the skills interesting. Tell me how quickly you want him to improve. I can make him have to work to get stronger or he could power up quickly. I have a rough plan for either option.
Point out any mistakes or improvements I can make in the comments and I'll make sure to try and fix/use them.
