Seeing that he unlocked a quest that is even better than a hidden quest, Echo was even more excited compared earlier.
A mystery quest is a derivative of a hidden quest, wherein the original story produces a butterfly effect creating a different overview for the players.
In terms of rewards, it is often unknown and can only be found out once the quest is over, there are times that there are hidden rewards for this kind of quest can be found in the middle and you may fail to notice it.
Regardless, the rewards will be generous for sure.
"I accept" Echo smilingly provided his answer to the retired captain. "Good gather them for me then I'll show you our power!" as the retired captain said this, Echo felt like he is now speaking to a different person.
"No maybe it is just my imagination" Echo calmed himself down and then ask, "can you tell me more about this old crew of yours? so that i have the idea on where to find them."
"Sure though I'm not sure how their backstory will help you, but if this can make you work faster then I'll be glad to tell it to you."
"When I was at a young age I know that I am destined for the sea, thus I began looking for opportunities to become a Voyager, always sneaking on multiple ship's sometimes i got captured many times not." A hint of longing appears on the captains face as he continues to tell Echo his story,
"My first companion is Azure a muscle brain but very proficient with a swashbuckler later we've learned that he is a son of a noble family, next to him is Lake a magician he knows all about the lands and has the ability to navigate even under the depths of the ocean, after him is the twins Dim and Lux they are the same yet very different one is born in light while the other..... is in darkn"
While in the middle of telling his story the retired Captain Crag suddenly got a headache "are you okay Captain?" Echo asked in panic.
"I am okay young man you don't have to worry it's just a minor headache all I need is a rest, You go ahead now and gather my comrades so that we can put to stop this bandits once and for all"
[Mystery Quest Updated]
[Challenging the Old Man]
You have learned a part on the past of Captain Crag. Find the members that is mentioned to the story to gather more information regarding the other members of the lonely waters pirate group.
"I understand. I'll be on my way now" seeing that his quest got an update Echo felt like he received enough information from the retired Captain and seeing Crag's tired and pained expression, Echo decided to bid his farewell and let the old man rest first.
Upon exiting the shack Echo then proceeded to message his friend Hao.
ECH0: hey I've got some good news and bad news for you^^
WángHào: and what is that?
ECH0: well you see I've went here to the harbor so that I can get the quest for the basic type aquarium right?
WángHào: yeah, have you experienced any problem?
ECH0: not really a problem but you see
WángHào: JUST SAY IT!!
ECH0: okay okay calm down. I receive a mystery quest from Captain Crag that's all
WángHào: freak! are you serious??
ECH0: Yup^^
WángHào: Well congrats on that, but what's going to happen to my aquarium?
ECH0: that's the bad news, i was try to get you a customized one but he gave me the mystery quest hahaha.
WángHào: hahaha..... F**** off
ECH0: hahaha just relax okay
WángHào: how am i going to relax?? you have one job and that's just getting an aquarium!!
ECH0: I've already informed Louis about your situation and he said Shoto is on his way here, just hang in there and swim for a bit okay^^
WángHào: Shuuuutttt Upppp!!!!!!
ECH0: peace Y
WángHào: I'll kill you later I Promise!
ECH0: good luck bye ^^
Ending his chat with Hao, Echo proceeded in finding more information about the retire captain's crew.

Meanwhile.
Seeing the young rabbit leave his shack, Captain Crag Immediately went back to his fishing spot.
Standing on the spot where Echo first found him Crag now finally releases the pain he received "arrrggghh it.. hurts!!" breathing deeply to alleviate the pain in his head the retired Captain suddenly heard a ghastly voice in his head
"You should have killed Him!, that guy will only foil your plans!" upon hearing this his head hurts even more.
"Who are you? what plan are you talking about?" Captain Crag shouted as he try to look around while holding his head in pain.
"Who am I? Bwahahaha c'mon you don't have to be like that Crag, I know that you know me deep down" like a devil whispering in his brain, Crag's headache hurts even more.
"argh!!! get out of my head you damn demon!" the pain is becoming more and more unbearable for Crag, until he saw his face on the water.
What he saw in the water terrified him. The left side of his face became dark red, black veins covering his face appears and his eyes felt like someone plucked it out can be seen.
The half of his face smiles at him and said "I am You and You are Me, We are nothing but the same person, so calling me a demon make you a demon too bwahaha!!"
"NO! we're not the same!! I am not a demon and never will be" Crag's strongly declared, but as he fights the pain in his head it just became more and more painful to bear.
as if the demon heard a terrible joke it started laughing maniacally. "a good one Crag, but no matter how many times you deny it, things will remain the same because YOU ARE ME!"
Hearing this Crag's began to feel terror. panic began to takeover him as he started scratching his left face like he is erasing a face paint. "No I am not You!" Crag's kept on repeating this praise however the image of the demon in the water began to takeover his whole face.
seeing this Crag's began to chant louder and louder to the point of screaming "No I'M NOT YOU!" but nothing happened.
the image began to disappear and the pain subsides as well, however unbeknownst to him the demon didn't disappear rather it began to takeover him.
his original blue skin suddenly turns red, black pattern on body began to appear, and his eyes became soulless. the demon finally fuses with him.
"You don't have to feel melancholy about what we're going to do Crag" with a devilish grin Crag began to walk forward in the water and finally dived deep.
A small dome shaped laboratory can be seen from afar. "This is your creation Crag don't you remember it?" devil told crag however he didn't get any response from the retired captain.
Crag's body has finally been takeovered his body leaving him powerless and imprisoned. he became mute as he was trap inside his own body, but he can still see what is happening on the outside like it is his own eyes.
Deep underwater Crag and the Demon finally reached the lab. Inside is a variety of apparatus and tools that is frequently used for experiments, but the most noticable thing here is the twelve giant aquarium surrounding a tube like aquarium. Currently there's only six beast inside, while the rest seems unoccupied
"You know even though i have doubts on the young beast that you have asked for help, I still appreciate your effort in making him do the searching for your pals , it makes things easier hahahha" The demon laughing told Crag, which is now in even more panic than usual.
"Hopefully You can save us young man"

MarcheHare Hi guys thanks for all those reviews i received it sure is helping me a lot
i actually wanted to make crag as a two faced person but i remember that there is this dark forces taking over the land of dyr...
so yeah no spoilers I'll promise to make this first arc a good one
I have work again starting tomorrow, but don't worry I still be continuing this fun and colorful adventure it's just that it maybe a bit slower^^ don't worry though there's no plan of dropping this down
