"Xiao Mengmeng, do you remember me~?"
Xia Meng smiled faintly at the man, who was hopping around her. "Of course, I do. You're CEO Ren's son."
However, she was cringing inside at the coy behavior of the man.
She cursed her old man (father) again. Why did she have to deal with this! She took a deep breath.
'Xia Meng, calm down.. You can't let that stinky old man take all the inheritance for himself!'
Ren Zihan cheekily smiled, "No, Xia Meng, I'm talking about my name? Call me by my name~"
Xia Meng's face turned black.
Just because she had smashed the phone in his face that day, this brat somehow convinced her father.
And the latter literally threatened her about the inheritance. She has no choice but to humor this guy, whose name she doesn't even remember.
And now he's taking his revenge on her by pestering her intentionally!
'I want to kill him!'
She tried to remember his name, "Ren.. Xi.. Fang.. Yeah, Ren Xi Fang! Now, let's go inside, okay?"
Ren Zihan's face dulled as he pouted, "Xiao Mengmeng~ You got my name wrong, I'm not going!"
Xia Meng sucked a cold breath. She smiled and spoke gently, "Young Master Ren, you see.. I can't remember everyone's name.."
Ren Zihan nodded along to her words but he froze when he heard the following sentence.
"..Not because I'm forgetful but because I just don't like them and they're full of nonsense."
Ren Zihan instantly expressed his displeasure, "Xiao Mengmeng, did you forget about the inheritance-"
"Ren Xi Fang or whatever. Do you think you can threaten me?"
Xia Meng stopped smiling, her face turning cold. "You must've forgotten. I'm not just a rich second-generation kid like you. I can.."
She leaned closer and whispered in his ears softly, "..Bury your bones right under your own house."
Her words sounded hilarious but Ren Zihan couldn't laugh. Instead, he felt a chill on his neck as he began sweating buckets without even realizing.
Xia Meng patted his shoulder and smiled subtly, "Stop with this crap otherwise you'll die without even knowing why."
She then withdrew her smile and coldly turned around to walk away. She paused in her footsteps and turned back.
He flinched slightly. She smirked at his reaction and simply said.
"Don't just stand there. You're a nobleman's son after all. Come inside if you still want to save your non-existent reputation."
Ren Zihan finally came to his senses after her silhouette had disappeared. He sneered out aloud.
'Why did I feel so scared for no reason?! Heck, what can she do to me?! She's just a girl!'
However, he didn't realize that his hands were trembling slightly and his legs even felt weak.

Xia Meng returned to the banquet and bumped into someone. She and the blue dressed lady spoke at the same time, "Sorry."
Then the both of them walked away but they soon came to realize that they were both going in the same direction.
She thought to herself. 'She'll turn to the next corner at the last section.'
But the more they got closer, she noticed that the lady had no intention of changing the direction at all.
The two ladies soon reached where Wang Yuju and Ning Hao were standing. Xia Meng was stunned. 'I thought she was heading to another direction; is she here to see Yuju?'
Her guess was correct because she saw the lady smiling at Wang Yuju, "Nice to meet you, CEO Wang."
The latter blinked before smiling back in surprise, "Nice to meet you too, CEO Xu."
'CEO Xu??'
Xia Meng didn't know much about the socialites or business, so it was expected for her not to recognize Xu Zhen.
But she had heard about this 'CEO Xu' before. Even that Xia Wei (father) was trying to contact her for partnership.
Xu Zhen peered at Ning Hao and then at Wang Yuju before beaming meaningfully. "Am I interrupting something?"
Wang Yuju lightly shook her head, "No, that's not the case at all. I'm very delighted that you approached me. But I'm not sure.. why exactly CEO Xu is here for?"
Xu Zhen waved her hands, "It's nothing. I wanted to say that I've always admired you for a long while."
She said with a subtle smile, "A friend of mine knows you, so I was eager to see what kind of person you must be. As she had said, you're very beautiful and talented."
Wang Yuju was taken aback, "A friend? CEO Xu, who's this person you're talking about?"
Xu Zhen shrugged, "You'll meet her one day. I'll personally introduce you two!"
Wang Yuju was intrigued but she didn't press on things. Xu Zhen left after greeting them, just like a wind passing by here and there.
Xia Meng poked Wang Yuju in admiration, "I didn't know you knew such a powerful person! But who is it actually? Even that old man wants to contact Xu Zhen but you.."
She sighed, feeling overwhelmed. "My Yuju is just too outstanding." Wang Yuju pushed her away lightly, "Enough. Even I don't know who that person is."
"Maybe, it's someone from US who knows you?"
"It might be."
Ning Hao watched as the two chatted with each other. He thought. 'Who's this person exactly?'
Another love rival? (A/N: Pronouns sound the same in Chinese so though XZ said 'she', NH is confused whether it's 'she' or 'he')

Meanwhile, in Australia;
Song Xia sneezed. 'Who the hell cursed me?'
She rubbed her nose. Tang Yan looked at her lying lazily on the couch and shook his head, "You're a lazy bum!"
Song Xia yawned at him. "When will you cook dinner?" Tang Yan was speechless, "You only care about food all day!"
But he still went to the kitchen to start cooking.
Song Xia smiled at his back before reaching out underneath the couch and taking out a packet of chips out of nowhere.
She opened the packet and started munching on the chips.
A voice startled her, "You sneaky little fox! Hiding snacks from me, aren't you?!"
Song Xia swallowed the chips and smiled as she extended the chips at him, "You want some?"
"..." Tang Yan was speechless. "You're bribing me now?!"
She sat up and licked her fingers as she said lazily, "Yeah. Don't tell Ellen about this."
Tang Yan snickered, "You think he'll mind?! If he finds out, he'll buy the whole supermarket's worth of snacks for you!"
"Stop talking nonsense! I just don't want him to think he lives with two pigs!"
"Haha you admit you're a pig- Wait.." Tang Yan's eyes widened, "Did you just call me a pig?!"
"At least, you have self awareness."
Tang Yan: "!!!"
Song Xia changed the topic, "Oh right, why is he so moody nowadays? He was totally fine before he met you! Don't tell me.."
She squinted her eyes suspiciously, "..You did something, didn't you??"
Tang Yan felt guilty and avoided her question, "Oh right, the dinner is cooking, I forgot to turn off the stove!"
He then darted off.
Song Xia smiled and munched the chips, "I knew it had something to do with him!"
Ding. She received a message. She slowly took out her phone. [/Screenshot/ What should we do next?]
Song Xia smirked as she typed. [Leave her be. Oh right, forward it to the Zhang Family. They should share the news together as a family.]
The other line sent over a smiley face, which made Song Xia pause for a second.
[Alright. Master Jiang wants to know when you'll complete your part of the deal. He also wonders when you'll return to China.]
Song Xia face-palmed when she recalled how she had promised Ellen that she won't go back. She pondered deeply before sighing.
[It might take some time for me to return back but I'll surely keep my promise.]
[It's okay, take your time.] Another smiley face arrived and she frowned. 'It's not the same person..'
