Even though DX was smiling at him, Dr. Phillip felt as if his life was in danger and he immediately took another step away from him while raising both his hands up, "I know Layla's not here, but if you hit me again, I'm not above squealing on you!"

"How is Layla going to help you? He's stronger than her now," asked Kai Xin curiously. She looked at DX for confirmation and when he nodded, she looked back at Dr. Phillip as if to say, "See?"

"Well, I'm sure Boss Layla has plenty of dirt on him that she can blackmail him with...," Dr. Phillip pointed out with a smug look on his face. They grew up together and over the years, Layla had used multiple methods to get DX to do certain things.

With his arms folded, he added proudly, "...and don't forget. I'm her favorite best friend."

"That's what she wants you to think," DX said coolly. He then looked at Kai Xin and said, "This idiot here is Dr. Phillip. He's an old friend of mine. Remember the doctor I told you previously?"
