Capítulo 70: First Class, Commotion
Waking up from Huo calling her, Sarah rose up from her bed and rubbed her eyes since she is being woke up earlier than normal which has slightly irritated her. Sighing as she knew that Huo was doing this out of consideration that she needed to go to class today and that they wouldn't be able to spend as much time with one another.
Sarah got up from the bed, after moving Ming'er aside gently, and made her way to the table where they usually eat. Huo was still busy in the kitchen and had only been able to come out for a couple of seconds to wake her up before having to rush back in so that she could make sure that the food didn't burn.
A short while later Huo made her way out of the kitchen with the usual breakfast and made her way over to the table.
"Wait a second and I'll bring out the refreshments" Huo said as she quietly left to bring in the juice and othe refreshments
Although she didn't show it outwardly, Sarah could see it in her eyes, that she is still upset that Jian had left and was still recovering from her emotions.
Just as Huo went into the kitchen Ming'er started stirring awake due to the smell of food permeating the room. By the time Huo had come back through with the refreshments in hand Ming'er had fully awoken and was slowly getting up while stretching to warm up her body.
Seeing that breakfast was ready, Ming'er happily bounced over and began devouring the food at a quick rate as if she had never eaten before.
"What have we told you before, even if you enjoy the food at least take your time otherw..." Just before Huo could warn Ming'er; Ming'er had already began to choke on her food from eating to fast.
Face palming, Huo and Sarah patted and rubbed Ming'er's back getting the food to pass down safely. After that little scare, Ming'er didn't dare eat her food too fast. Time passed quickly as they chatted with one another before it was finally time for them to leave.
Ming'er happily bounded to the door, after she had gotten dressed, as she was excited to lead Sarah to her classes. Leaving the room they headed for the area that Sarah's class was while Ming'er talked about her usual routine.
Apparently Ming'er had a lot of free time due to the fact that she is too young to properly learn any weapon arts except from Dagger Art's and other smaller weapon art's however she doesn't like them therefore refuses to take any weapon art's until her body grows. The weapon that she is interested in is the pole. Although she could have a small pole made, MIng'er didn't get one since most of the Pole Art's that are truly powerful require certain lengths and widths for the pole so that it could properly utilise the power behind that specific art. Therefore Ming'er spends most of her time learning about the respective elements that she has: Water, Earth and Wind. She learns about the Water element at the same time as Sarah, learns Earth on the Friday while she learns about Wind on the Wednesday so she is free on ever other day unless she decides to wander around and join random classes since she gets bored really easily unless she finds something to distract herself like her board games. However now that she has Huo to spend her time with she doesn't need to wander around as much anymore whilst she can even teach some of the stuff she has learned to Huo.
Ming'er had talked the entire way throught the journey to the area where she would learn her sword art's.
"This is the area big sis, I'll see you later" Ming'er said as she left to go back to the mansion since the only reason she had to leave was to guide Sarah to the area where she would be learning in the morning's.
Knowing that this is where she is supposed to learn she began to make her way over to where she can see a group of people congregating. As she made her way over she recognised a few people from the test that she had taken part in, even Christopher was here. Predictabely his younger brother had chosen another course.
Deciding that it would be better to socialise with someone that had been around the school for a while and would know his way around by now would be for the best. At first no one had really noticed her as they were too busy talking with one another but when she started making her way through the group towards Christopher she started gathering attention to herself. Of course, if they were able to see her true beauty there would be an even bigger commotion. Every male stared at her with desire whilst every female stared at her with jeaousy and envy as some of the females were in a relationship with some of the male's who were now enraptured by her appearance, that even covered can make men fall to their knees for the chance to get her favour.
"...Sarah?" Noticing the commotion, Christopher was confused at first. It was after a few seconds that he remembered the beauty that his younger brother had angered at the test and smiled to himself as he had also been captured by her looks and demeanor. However he still had a decorum of self-control that stopped him from immediatley entering a daze. Seeing that the man they liked had started looking at another woman; the woman that were around Christopher began to look at Sarah with hosility while a few had a hidden malice behind the hostility that promised that those that had angered them would not meet a good end.
Sarah, of course, had noticed the hostility that all the female gazes held. She also noticed the women that had hidden malice behind their gazes and immediatley became alert towards them as she knew that even if she hadn't intentionally crossed them they would still seek trouble with her. Her pride as a beast demanded that she ripped those apart that dared look at her with such malice however her human side reminded her that she needed to be patient and the time would come for her to strike. Sarah's human side also warned her that they could also have some background outside of the academy that could pose some trouble therefore it was best to lay low as best as possible, though that was going to be difficult with her level of looks. Her beast side however conflicted that she should never waver in the face of danger as she should live with her head held high. She then decided that although she will not look for trouble, if trouble came looking for her. She would rip out it's throat and see if it still dares to rear it's fang's at her.
The glint that appeared in her eye as she made her decision scared the women into taking a step back while Christopher still took a step forward and greeted her warmly. When she had been greeted by Christopher she noticed the gaze his eyes held and knew that he would try and pursue her although it would be more subdued than the arrogant young masters that had tried their way with her because of their family background that would have helped them back where they lived.
Greeting him back she then asked why everyone was just standing there when the time for the class has already started. Christopher then went on to explain that the teacher that they have for (W) Sword Art's doesn't usually show up within half an hour and is usually hungover since he drinks a lot. Normally he would have been fired from the academy but he has a really strong backing that even the headmaster can't do anything about. Hearing this a glint appeared in her eyes since she knew that only a hidden family or sect could make the headmaster that cautious in making a decision. Afterall, in the eyes of the public, the academy is one of the strongest forces on the continent.
'Let's just hope he isn't a lecher as well as I don't believe I will be able to hold myself back if he dares to make a move on me' Sarah thought to herself.
