"That's fine," the actress said. "I can do it myself; it's only light makeup, anyway."

After saying this, she opened the makeup pouch and started to apply the foundation. Her technique was not expertly skillful, but she was still meticulous.

As she was applying her makeup, she asked, "What happened exactly? Why was everyone giving me a strange look today?"
