She was about to call again when a maid noticed that she was still around and ushered her out of the bedroom to get her away from Qiu Ran.

She paced up and down outside the bedroom, feeling anxious but also helpless.

"Miss, I have calmed her down. She needs rest and cannot undergo any more stress. Please go home."

Lu Zhaoyang shook her head. "I'm staying here, but I will make sure she does not see me."

"You can't do anything by staying here. Your presence will only make things worse for her!"

"Let me stay a while more until I can reach Mr Huo."

The doctor could see that she was stubborn and did not insist further. He returned to his own place.
