This is really a great book and i'm glad that it was picked up for translation. The FL is very likable and you become invested in seeing her do well despite having such a had family life. I can't wait to continue reading this.
I was so sad when this story stopped being translated, it is such a good character driven story with realistic and engaging character. Excellent world building and good plot. I'm so happy that this story has gotten past the 60 page limit it was on and is now progressing. Cannot wait until it reaches the 300 chapters range.

I really hate this horrible cover. This random "we want to sell this to girls" cover is not fit for our female MC fighter. Who is the dude on the cover supposed to be? Please invest a little money to create a proper cover. WN please start releasing new chapters on this. At least release the chapters that were published on GT
This is one of the best xianxia out there. It was translated for Gravity Tales and the translator+author made a deal with WN. The project was stopped more than a year before. Now that GT is finally gone we might get more of it.

I love this story the MC is awesome and not annoying at all! She’s smart, heroic, and ruthless. 😈😜 Her sharp tongue will have you rolling with laughter after she roasts someone & her development is challenging which made this story better than most for me. 😁
This book is great with good pacing and strong main heroine who’s very capable. No idiotic transmigration or reincarnation, but interesting helper system and world building. I hope this story will continued to be translated 🙏
I read it on here and then when I saw that it wasn't chosen on trial read I went to read all the chapters on Gravity Tales and I just finished today. This novel is really good, there's a lot of character development in the Main Character and as the story progresses you get a better understanding of things and stuff/people that was introduced earlier are still relevant later on in the story. I actually didn't think I was going to read all the 301 chapters because I usually drop stories a lot for no reason and it's been a while since I actually caught up to one and became so invested in the story. I really hope it gets picked up to be translated and that I pick up from where I left of and eventually finish reading this story. It's so sad that it wasn't chosen for voting...

This book has 850 chapters of main story and one chapter of epilogue. So, it's another "short" novel. The translation here is more easy to understand than the other version, especially compared to the mtl version (It's more stressful than the mtl version of the other books). We have weirdo main leads here. And by weirdos, I mean... They're really weird and hard to understand (or is it just me?). 😅 Other than the main leads, I also feel the word building is less wholesome (but, over all it's okay). Lu Mingshu started up as normal female lead who we can relate to (I'm talking about her process of thinking and making decisions). But, all along the way it's became harder to understand her and some times, no, oftentimes her actions and decisions make me u**et. 😅 She has a cold and tough facade, but extremely soft inside to the point that she's afraid to make friends/relationship. But, it's understandable as her mental/heart shadow after what happened to the Lu. On the other side, Xie Xing Shen is a lunatic, a real mentally sick patient run on loose. He's a true psychopath with multiple personality disorder. They (except for Yan Wugui) have the most unpleasant personality amongst the main leads I've ever read and that is why it's hard for me to finish reading the book (but I still persist till the end). But at least, their mental problems are solved (to some extent) over the time and they get their happy end (in the epilogue). And "Hooray!" for there's no brain-dead impossible-to-repent canon fodder love-rival. 😁

Don't bother with the obvious fake 5star reviews. This novel deserves those 5 stars despite WN's "promotion". The cover and tags have nothing to do with the actual content. This isn't a romance novel. The MC might flirt on occasion but that's it. This isn't a bloody CEO bullcrap novel. An irrelevant idiot must have picked this cover. If you're searching for a proper cultivation novel with female MC and no romance, this one is highly recommended.
