This my first review in webnovel. This novel is one of my the best novel. I already finished the raw. I am assure that this novel is best. So, Brace yourself for new journey.
a refreshing view on cultivation system. unique and inspiring. love it so far. i highly recommend this. also the writing isn't too bad some errors but not much
I like the whole rubik’s cube as a power up and communication tool🤣MC is the typical cold and calculating type. I found her a bit annoying at times, but overall she isn’t a bad heroine. ML actually has character depth that is hard to find these days. I enjoyed most of this and finished MTLing it. The ending was disappointing romance wise but is an HE plot-wise.
I like this novel so much. Have been waiting for years for this book to be pick up by other translators. Thank you so much for translating this novel.
It's quite inspirational. The female lead is very strong. Girls should be like her. Fight back. Looking it so far. Always a hardship make people more strong and it helps to gain success in life.

This is one of the few cultivation books that I truly enjoy reading, (is not rebirth type atleast, also the FL has not been abandoned by her fiance😛😂). overall the story plot is much better than many other cultivation novels.
Truly a hidden gem! This novel is so excellent! The female lead is fascinating, intelligent and tenacious, but also not without faults and weaknesses. The story is unpredictable, refreshing and captivating. I dare to say that in terms of quality, this novel is the best on Webnovel.
Great story, absolutely love it but there is a guy attempting to use his power and authority to force her to marry him and if she does I'm going to be so mad.

I like that it's not another reincarnation story seeking revenge for the host, but revenge due to the situation. The storyline is interesting but it's definitely a slow burn type of novel. At some part it seem unrealistic for Minghsu to always able to overcome the problem and is able to beat everyone. Also the heavenly wheel that Minghsu got is weird since everytime she goes in there it's a a mix of modern world. it seem like the author want to add a twist in a historical novel which to me is weird and not realistic. After reading 200+ chapter she still haven't fine a cure to help her master, haven't reach the point of of power, and the ML still hasn't been confirm. If you'r looking for a slow burn novel with detailed journey about someone working their way up to be powerful this novel is for you, but i would wait til more chapter is release before starting if not you'll just get frustrated.
I really enjoy this book overall. sometimes it side tracks but even then, the fights are so much fun to read. lu mingshu isn't the typical FL. I think she might be a robot 🤣 jk. but seriously, she doesn't rely on the ML, she's extremely smart and calculating, and although she might be emotionless to some, she helps others. I hope this continues to update. **, if u want a romance story, this might not be for you since it's slow to build up. I'm still waiting for a kiss at chapter 340! lol but if you want adventures, then heck yea!
There is a severe lack of cultivation stories with a female main character, so reading Phoenix Destiny is like being given sweets after eating something bitter. It’s like seeing a lighthouse while drifting lost in sea in a storm, like finding an oasis in the scorching desert - you get the point. The character, Lu Mingshu, is hardworking, very independent and highly intelligent. The side characters are given their time to shine, and it’s great that the villains aren’t overly dramatised for the sake of it. A moment that stood out to me was when the novel addressed this point: if the main character is overly smart, the side characters stop thinking and become backdrops. The novel prevents this, emphasises on how each character thinks differently, they aren’t just there to prop up the main character. Another great character aspect is that the female side characters aren’t put down so Lu Mingshu is seen as the best! Phoenix Destiny is Lu Minghsu’s story about rising in cultivation, the romance is there yes, but the focal point is her adventures, and seeing her level up is so, so satisfying.

My favourite novel, tied with Lady Cultivator (also by Yun Ji) This novel has great characters and character development, a great plotline and it stays away from all cliches! And one of the only things keeping me on Webnovel
