I do apologize to my viewership But the hiatus is expected to continue for a months time at least while I get my things in order, But take note of the fact that at the end of this hiatus (which will last an indefinite amount of time possibly for the entire semester or longer) I will issue a mass release of chapters and set up a chapter stockpile for the sake of release sustainability, the rate of chapters is unlikely to ever exceed 3 a week, as writing with this level of detail take a significant amount of time and several arcs I had planed were axed or moved back in favor of a more stable character progression and for the sake of avoiding escalation early on, this novel was written with the intent of delivering to the readers sensible, meticulously detailed combat where every bullet and action counts It is very difficult for me to put the brakes to character cultivation when I want to hit the throttle so hard as a result a lot of things go back to the drawing board and are set up for later. one such example is a character development ark for the mc that I decided to push back in order to more thoroughly flesh out the dynamic between the mc and the guild as well as round out his skill set to improve crafting (please note that the current ark will be crafting heavy and I will take advantage of the combat simulations to take the mc arsenal through single action and cylinder based weapons by means of a new aspect to the system that will be introduced to readers when hiatus ends
I want my readers to know that the novel is still alive and well but for the time being It is at a crossroads and I am trying to avoid what I believe to be the wrong path this story will develop slowly and will read slowly but on the plus side it is highly unlikely that this novel will ever go premium as I prefer having an audience over money.
On another note I strongly encourage my readers to comment on chapters, while what I end up deciding to write is my prerogative (and usually requires a LOT of planning in the way of foreshadowing) Your feedback does matter and will likely influence the future direction of this novel (just not now or anytime soon but later down the line it will depending on how it can or might be implemented into the mc's current or future situations )
please note that I am more concerned about feedback as opposed to reviews In its current state I believe the novel would be more difficult to review as it is akin to as skeleton in its present state most of the main cast has been introduced but they still have a great deal of room to develop in addition to the system being fleshed out (we also haven't even started killing any healers yet)
