Capítulo 39: Primordial Azure Dragon(Residual Soul) VS Saiyan, Super Saiyan Form Of An Alpha Saiyan.
Ikuya looked at his surroundings and only saw empty lands with some green life here and there. The blue skies were dim without much light.
Ikuya was confused as this wasn't what he was expecting.
" Roar!!!"
Suddenly, a heaven shattering draconic roar resounded in the skies as the skies were enveloped with immense azure light. An immense overbearing aura descended on the barren lands.
*Swoosh!*
Shockwaves were spread throughout the lands and the intense airwaves generated by the shockwaves caused Ikuya's hair and clothes to flutter in the air.
Soon in Ikuya's sight, an enormous figure of an Azure coloured Dragon which was tens of times larger than the Flood Dragons appeared. It was releasing a majestic and overwhelming presence. It gave off an ancient aura that no one could stand up to.
Suddenly, the giant Azure coloured Dragon dispersed into blue light. Then the blue light condensed into a humanoid form. An Azure haired man.
The man had a middle-aged appearance. He was very handsome. His face revealed a prideful expression.
His long azure hair scattered across his back. This made him look somewhat wild and unruly.
Ikuya was able to sense that the man was very powerful. However, he was unable to tell exactly what level of cultivation he possessed since he isn't that familiar with the cultivation realms above the Mortal Realms.
Ikuya smiled indifferently seeing all this, and a whirlwind rose from beneath his feet, sending his body flying high up in the sky to arrive at the same altitude as the azure haired man.
" Primordial Azure Dragon, what's all this about? I don't think this should be a part of the trial." Ikuya said.
" Young Saiyan, the trials here are meant for those within the mortal cultivation realms. But your physical strength alone far surpasses those of the Sovereign Profound Realm and is already at the level of a Divine Origin Realm. You have already passed the first and second trials set here indirectly and since you've passed Phoenix's trials, then that means you've passed the third trial as well." The azure haired man who is actually Primordial Azure Dragon said.
The reason why Ikuya had temporarily integrated with the ordinary Phoenix Origin Blood was because he wanted to avoid the third trial. But looks like things went his way, although in a different route.
" But I cannot give you the rewards just like that. That's why I've prepared a trial just for you. In this trial, you'll fight me and prove that you're worthy enough for the Dragon God bloodline. Of course, if you can pass this trial, then the rewards will also be much greater than the norm. Now then, Young Saiyan, Are you prepared?" The Primordial Azure Dragon asked.
" A fight, huh.." Ikuya muttered, then a smile crept up his face as he said, " Okay, I'm prepared. Lets start."
Ikuya of course understood that the residual soul before him is different from the divine spirits of other divine beasts. The Phoenix Spirit in the Phoenix's trial was an artificial spirit created by the Divine Immortal Phoenix before it's death in order to guard the trial grounds and has to follow the rules set by the original Primordial Divine Beast. The same is with Golden Crow and probably most other divine spirits as well.
But this residual soul is not an artificial spirit created by Primordial Azure Dragon. But rather, this residual soul is the true remnant of the Primordial Azure Dragon. It doesn't have to follow any strict rules and regulations like the other divine spirits. Because the residual soul is the Dragon God himself.
" Okay then..." The Primordial Azure Dragon disappeared from his spot and suddenly appeared right in front of Ikuya and struck Ikuya's face with tremendous force while catching Ikuya off guard.
" Ah.." A pained groan escaped Ikuya's mouth. A severe pain transmitted to his brain after passing through the nerves on his head.
With a thunderous noise, Ikuya's body suddenly swiftly shot out like an arrow, flying parallel to the ground. A strong storm blew up a layer of soil and dug a deep ditch more than five meters wide.
With a 'bang', Ikuya crashed into the hard ground creating a big crater.
The Primordial Azure Dragon then slowly descended to the ground as he said, " Young Saiyan, I believe you remember what I had said before. In the trial grounds of the Dragon God, you pass then you get Dragon God bloodline and leave this place. But if you fail, death is your only end. So, this 'Test of Strength' is a life and death battle between you and me. It is best you don't treat this as a simple test."
Amidst the dust and smoke slowly clearing away, Ikuya slowly walked out from the crater and stood thirty feet away from the Primordial Azure Dragon.
" Ptui..." Ikuya spat out some blood and then wiped off the blood from the corner of his lips as he smiled. This was not his usual indifferent smile or the slight smile, but an excited smile.
Ikuya deactivated the gravity force acting on him as he removed the 'God-Gear' from his left wrist and stored it in his pocket dimension.
" Hehe.... You pack some punch despite being only a spirit. I'm starting to get a little excited." Ikuya said with a smile. He twisted his neck, making a series of 'cracking' noise. He did the same with his knuckles.
" This spirit body of mine does contain Dragon God blood and many other things. So I do have a fair level of strength. But you're quite the anomaly. Despite only having the profound strength of a Sky Profound Realm, you possess a battle power that rivals a Divine Origin expert." The Primordial Azure Dragon in his humanoid form smiled.
Ikuya's expression turned serious as he channelled both his Ki and profound energy through his meridians and profound veins in all areas of his body. The profound energy wasn't disputing with Ki, rather the profound energy was enhancing the capabilities of Ki exponentially.
*Twiiissshhh!*
*Fssh* *Fssh* *Fssh*
Violent white shining energy erupted from Ikuya and was blazing around him as Ikuya's energy swept out the entire place. The violent and tyrannical energy surged out like a tsunami, drowning everything in the surrounding.
From the ground, frightening energies shot out to the sky. Instantly, shock waves brushed past the dark clouds thousands of meters in the clear blue sky. The frightening shock waves that could be seen with the naked eyes distorted the light, illuminating every inch of the lands.
Ikuya's Ki was now more stronger and destructive because of the enhancement of profound energy. And this was the result of Sky Profound Realm profound energy. One can't even begin to imagine what kind of power Ikuya can command if his profound strength is even higher.
" This is the fusion of two different energies.... No! This is no fusion! He's controlling both profound energy and life energy at the same time! Incredible..." Primordial Azure Dragon muttered in shock, then wryly smiled, " To think you could make me feel such an emotion."
" Dragon God, here I come!" Ikuya increased the strength in his foot as the earth beneath cracked like spider web as Ikuya moved forward with high-speed.
With a faint smile, Ikuya's body quickly moved. Several blurry afterimages connected in a straight line as Ikuya suddenly arrived before Primordial Azure Dragon.
Ikuya ruthlessly struck his powerful fist at the Primordial Azure Dragon's gut and right after, he started to pummel the Dragon God with his powerful fists.
But Ikuya felt that his current strength wasn't really dealing much damage to the Primordial Azure Dragon. So...
" KaioKen!" Ikuya's power instantly multiplied, shocking the Dragon God.
" Kaio what?!" The Primordial Azure Dragon was shocked and confused.
" KaioKen!!"
*Pow!*
Ikuya yelled as he punched the Dragon God's face and sent him staggering a few feet back. But this level of power still hasn't really made a difference to the Dragon God.
" Tch! If that's not enough, then how about this! Kaioken! Times Four!" Ikuya said as the red Ki around him became more intensified.
Ikuya then exchanged a few strikes with the Dragon God before being overpowered by the Dragon God. From what Ikuya could tell, Dragon God wasn't even using the tiniest bit of his power.
" You never cease to surprise me. To think you'd even have a power multiplying technique. So, are you done?" The Primordial Azure Dragon asked.
" Not by a long shot. I haven't even gotten started yet." Ikuya said.
" Oh? You're saying that you have even more power?" The Primordial Azure Dragon asked in curiosity.
" You'll see soon enough." Ikuya said as his entire body tensed as a berserk monstrous aura spread out from him as a faint roar that seemed to come from an ape resounded from Ikuya's body.
The Primordial Azure Dragon was startled by the faint roar he heard from Ikuya.
Ikuya's body was undergoing a transformation. His body had become a bit buffed up and his irises had become golden while his pupils remained the same dark blue. His hair slightly stood up, spiked.
The most notable change was his considerable increase in overall power. His power had been increased by an accurate level of 30 times.
" Lets see how you handle this." Ikuya said as he moved instantly in front of Dragon God and sent him flying as Ikuya struck with tremendous force.
With a thunderous noise, Dragon God's spirit body suddenly swiftly shot out like an arrow, flying parallel to the ground. A strong storm blew up a layer of soil and dug a deep ditch more than five meters wide.
As Dragon God was flung out, Ikuya moved like a flash of lightning, and suddenly appeared next to Dragon God, flying parallel with his body for a while. Ikuya lifted his foot and forcefully kicked it high in the sky as if playing a football match by treating Dragon God as a football.
Dragon God turned into a huge rocket that was rising into the sky. He quickly accelerated to a very fast speed. Because his speed was too fast, a blue light appeared at the top and he instantly pierced through the thin clouds, producing faint concentric ripples.
Ikuya followed right after, but suddenly a blue light appeared right before him a blue energy coated fist ruthlessly smashed into Ikuya's chest.
Ikuya descended down like a meteor and crashed into the hard earth.
With a rumbling sound, the huge impact caused everything to become chaotic. The hard earth was struck by a huge impact, penetrating a huge dark crater of unknown depth, and instantly splashing sand out.
The fine gravel accelerated like bullets, punching everything along the way with small holes.
As the smoke and dust permeating the sky gradually dissipated, a huge impact crater of one-kilometer in diameter, suddenly became visible.
Ikuya jumped out of the massive impact crater and he stood a distance away. His clothes were tattered and torn in some places.
" How about it, do you feel like giving up now?" The Primordial Azure Dragon asked as it slowly descended from the skies.
" Say Primordial Azure Dragon, have you ever seen a Super Saiyan before?" Ikuya asked as he returned to his base form.
" Super Saiyan....?"
