Capítulo 30: Unexpected Encounter, It's Because I Allowed It.
Ikuya flew to the peak of one of the mountains with a volcanic activity at the peak, when suddenly a piece of cloth flew towards him.
Ikuya caught the piece of silky cloth and saw that it was a veil which was a bit similar to the one that Xia Qingyue wears.
Red clusters of burning stones and the pools of lava filled the place with scorching and terrifyingly humid conditions. Waves of intense burning heat that can vaporise anyone below Earth Profound Realm within seconds swarmed one after another.
" Fairy Yuechan, just handover the Sun Fire Lotus. Otherwise, I'll be forced to give into my instincts. Hehehe..."
A voice with creepy laugh entered his eyes as he saw a man and a woman dressed in red robes attacking a wall of ice and breaking it apart as a peerless beauty with a cold yet desperate expression to retreat backwards.
" Hmm?" Ikuya looked ahead and when he saw the peerless beauty, he was slightly surprised.
" Chu Yuechan?" Ikuya muttered as he looked at the scene before him.
Because of fighting in an extremely humid place like this and also being an ice-attribute Profound practitioner, Chu Yuechan's graceful body was damp with sweat. Her damp clothes stuck on her body, showcasing her seducing curves.
The man who was attacking Chu Yuechan had a lustful gaze and the woman had an expression of hate and envy and was clearly using more power to strike Chu Yuechan when compared to the man.
They all suddenly noticed Ikuya's presence and Chu Yuechan took this chance to create distance between her foes and herself.
" You are.... " Chu Yuechan had a surprised expression when she saw Ikuya.
"..... Sister Yin's son." She muttered under her breath.
" Get away from here!" Chu Yuechan coldly shouted at Ikuya as she moved towards him, but was intercepted by the red robed woman.
" Chu Yuechan! It seems you care about the well-being of that youth." The red robed woman sneered as she crossed swords with Chu Yuechan.
" Elder Caizhen! Kill that brat and show this bitch that we mean business!" The red robed woman yelled towards the red robed man.
The red robed man was stunned for a moment before agreeing, " Gladly."
*Swish!*
He held his war hammer and moved towards Ikuya in a flash. He had already felt uncomfortable when he saw Ikuya and he was more than willing to kill Ikuya.
" And here I was going to get away from here." Ikuya grumbled in annoyance as he raised a hand.
Under the astonished eyes of the red robed woman and Chu Yuechan, the war hammer of the red robed man who was called Elder Caizhen was effortlessly caught by Ikuya.
*C-Crack!*
The head of the war hammer shattered under Ikuya's powerful grip which shocked the red robed man.
Although the war hammer is not a Sky Profound Weapon, it was still a peak grade Earth Profound Weapon! But now, Ikuya had shattered an Earth Profound Weapon like it is a mere piece of glass.
Elder Caizhen was scared out of his wits as he was thrown back by the explosion caused by the destruction of his war hammer.
Elder Caizhen felt his back shivered in cold, he glanced over his shoulder. But before he managed to do so, two feet landed on the back of his head and body. He fell flat on the rough ground and his body slid several meters away.
" Please, please! Don't kill me! I beg you!" Elder Caizhen begged as his face was starting to burn because of the hot ground.
" You've to be prepared to be killed if you decide to kill someone else..." Ikuya indifferently said, his foot increased the pressure on his head.
" Ar-are you saying y-you are pre-prepared...?" Elder Caizhen asked while trembling.
" Of course I'm prepared to be killed. Death is a normal occurrence to me. After all, once life is born, death is eminent. It's just a matter of how and when." Ikuya said as he directly increased the strength in his leg, causing Elder Caizhen's head to burst like watermelon.
The red robed woman and Chu Yuechan had seized their fight and were frozen in place. The red robed woman was fear-stricken.
Chu Yuechan was completely startled. She had seen 'Yuan Lei' a few years ago and know him to be a kind and gentle child. But what right now in front of her was a merciless powerhouse.
Her frosty cold face looked startled and her beautiful eyes flashed a hidden fright...
Chu Yuechan took a deep breath. It was hard for her to hide the fear in her beautiful eyes. She was discreetly shaken.
She couldn't comprehend how a near sixteen year old teenager can squash a peak Sky Profound Realm expert like a bug and so mercilessly at that.
" It's your turn, woman." Ikuya said as he slowly walked towards the red robed woman.
" Wait! Why do you have to kill me?! We have no grievances between us!" The red robed woman spoke in a scared yet frustrated manner.
" I don't think so." Ikuya said as he continued to walk forward.
" Then why?! Is it because of this woman?!" The red robed woman pointed to Chu Yuechan and yelled.
" Nope. I couldn't care less about her." Ikuya said.
Each step he took caused a wave of fear and anxiety to bumble up within the red robed woman.
" Then why?! What grievance did you have with me?!" The red robed woman spoke in a frustrating manner.
" It's simple. You involved me in this nonsense of a fight when I had decided to turn back and even declared your will to kill me. This is more than enough reason to obliterate you." Ikuya said.
" Wait, wait! I surrender! I give up! Please spare me! I have a family to look after! My children! Please spare me!" The red robed woman dropped to her knees and begged for her life.
But Ikuya's momentum didn't stop and he still had an indifferent expression.
*Swish*
Suddenly, a white robed figure stood in between Ikuya and the red robed woman when Ikuya was only three meters away from the red robed woman.
This was precisely Chu Yuechan! She is the white robed figure who stood in front of Ikuya, obstructing his path.
" What do you think you're doing?" Ikuya asked in a cold tone.
" She has already surrendered. She has already lost her will to fight. There is no need to take this any further." Chu Yuechan said with an equally cold tone.
" And who are you to decide that?" Ikuya asked.
" Yuan Lei, you have a family too. How do you think your mother will feel if something were to happen to you?" Chu Yuechan said, evidently seen that she seems to be getting a little emotional due to the term 'Family'.
What Chu Yuechan didn't notice was that a malicious smile had formed on the face of the red robed woman who is looking at Chu Yuechan who was directly standing in front of Ikuya, blocking his view.
The red robed woman quietly gripped her sword without creating any disturbance and suddenly thrust forward with maximum speed.
*Shrk!*
Before Chu Yuechan could even react, the red robed woman's sword had pierced through the right side of Chu Yuechan's chest.
Chu Yuechan was shocked beyond words as she looked at her right chest region.
But her shock changed into something else when she saw that the sword had pierced the left chest region of Ikuya, which is Ikuya's heart.
The sword had pierced through Ikuya's heart as blood trickled from the corner of his lips.
Chu Yuechan understood what had happened. The red robed woman's goal wasn't her but Ikuya.
Chu Yuechan felt extreme guilt when she saw the sword stabbed through Ikuya's heart. She felt guilty towards Ikuya and .... the Yuan family, Ikuya/Yuan Lei's family.
If not for her, Ikuya would probably not get stabbed like this.

The red robed woman forcefully drew out her sword from the chests of Ikuya and Chu Yuechan. Ikuya stayed in the same spot, but Chu Yuechan swayed back and forth and powerlessly fell into Ikuya's hands as she uttered one word before losing consciousness.
" ....Sorry...."
One couldn't blame her. She had fought in this place which is literally her nemesis and she was already physical, mentally and energy wise drained and was very tired. On top of that, she has endured quite a few injuries from her battle with the red robed duo, in which, some of the injuries are quite heavy.
Ikuya looked at the pale face of Chu Yuechan for a second before sighing, " Seriously, what an unsufferable woman. Caring about someone else's family in such a situation."
" Hahaha! Never thought that the cold and indifferent Chu Yuechan could be so stupid! Believing someone who was trying to kill you all this time!" The red robed woman laughed.
" Shut up." Ikuya uttered.
The red robed woman froze in fear for a moment, then regained her senses as she said, " Hmph! What can you do anymore?! I've pierced your heart with my sword! It's only a matter of time before you die!"
" Do you think you were able to pierce my heart because you could?" Ikuya asked.
" What are you-?!" The red robed woman was startled and an unknown fear started to creep up in her heart.
" It's because..... I allowed you to do it." Ikuya said as his voice made the red robed woman tremble in fear.
" You said this woman is stupid. But I'd say, she's a better human than you. Even in such a situation, she was concerned about me and 'my' family's well-being and even showed pity towards someone like you, which showed her true nature. There are not many humans I say I trust, but I know, this woman is worth my trust." Ikuya said as he held Chu Yuechan close to him. An image of Meng Yin appeared in his mind.
" What are you...." The red robed woman said in confusion.
" Lets just leave it at that. Now then, lets begin with your punishment. After I'm done with you, you'll understand that there are beings out there that are far more terrifying than gods." Ikuya said as his expression became very tranquil and his dark blue irises shone with light blue radiance.
The red robed woman was startled and also felt an absolute suppression from Ikuya at this moment, as if she was in front of the one who stands above all. She was shaken to her very core.
" Hmm?" Ikuya was surprised when a ruby red skeletal hand arose from the pool of Lava behind the red robed woman and caught her, surprisingly incinerating the woman in a second without even giving her a chance to scream.
