Capítulo 69: Hope !
Jason sat in a corner waiting. Tina's parents reached. Her mother had tears rolling down her cheeks, her eyes were swollen..her father looked like a helpless man. Jason comforted them and told them that Tina will make a full recovery. But Fred's condition is still not stable.
Tina's mom controlled herself. She looked at Jason and said, 'Mr.Jason, do you know how long I waited to see my daughter walking down the aisle....years together..I waited...I tried to find a perfect match for her..but no one was good enough..along came Fred..handsome with his impish smile and good heart..I thought Tina found the perfect partner..she needed the cheer and happiness that he gave her...now ..what will happen to the dreams and the bright future they wanted to have together..Fred is already like a son to me..what will I tell his mother..!' she started crying again.
Jason went and hugged her, he said, ' aunty, we will do whatever is needed..I spoke to few medical experts in USA, they are coming to examine Fred..don't worry!' she looked at him and said, ' is there still hope for him?' Jason struggled for a minute, he didn't know..but he said, 'ofcourse!' and patted her back..
Tina's father just stood outside the hospital room. He was watching Fred through the small glass frame in the metallic door. He was not a big talker..but his face was so tender and full of concern for the young boy.
The Doctor who spoke to Jason earlier came and said, ' Mr.Jason, whose parents are here?Tina's or Fred's?' Jason said, 'Tina's, !'
The Doctor said, ' nothing to worry about Tina, she will be conscious in some time..she needs a bed rest of one month..post that she can go ahead and do whatever she wants'
Tina's mother said, 'Thank you very much Doctor! but..what about Fred? my son to be?' Doctor sighed and said, ' he will survive..but in what condition he will be..we don't know exactly he needs to be conscious for further assessment..Mr.Jason is flying down few Doctors from USA..once they take a look at Fred..then we will conclude..'
Tina's mother nodded and went and stood beside her husband. He looked at her , she held his hand and both knelt down and she started praying.. 'The father, the son and the holy spirit..keep watching over our kids..keep them safe...please help your son Fred..please help him...let your hands heal him....give him back to us the way he was before this accident...Give us hope..!'
Her husband had tears rolling down his cheek..but he controlled himself..' My daughter..my Tina..she will not live without Fred..God ..please..help..'
Jason couldn't control himself, the woman he loved with all his heart..the one woman who stirred his soul after a long time..but...she has another man in her heart...and he too knew..Tina simply will not survive without Fred! he too closed his eyes and said 'God.. we need hope!'
Fred's monitor started beeping continously..like an alarm..Fred's body was thrashing in bed..Doctor shouted, ' seizure..' and ran towards the door ,he called out , 'nurse..quick..!' ...
