March gave me a small sad sign, "What is your price?"
"A Million of Gold Rounds."
It was a short reply. I short her a smirk. That was probably more than she could afford. Gold rounds were tokens from the F.A.I.T.H organization, only dealers had access to it. It's used to settle scores between devil, dealers, and seers.
March shot me an irritated look, "That's too much."
"Is it?," I asked smirking," I am delivering you a mate. Life isn't worth living without your mate, right?"
It was the truth.
March look like she wanted to claw my face away but I was still smirking. Looking at her frustrated made me happy.
"I can offer you a made mate just like Sam's deal. No more no less." I repeated myself,
March's lips compressed, and she shook her head. "Fine. I have 200K on hand, the rest I will pay in installment. The interest will be 1% per year."
"It sounded fair." I said an held my hand out,
We shook our hands and I watch as my powers bound onto her. From this moment on until the deal is fulfilled, I could track March.
The deal was simple, both of us knew what we were doing. I had a seer on the list to visit, and now I had a good cover. For March she narrowly avoids making the worth decision in her life so she should be happy but there was not a hit of happiness. In fact she looks sort of mad. Her eyes were light with red. I really should watch out.
"Don't let me down, Gene," she said. "Or you'll wish you'd never be born. I'll take everything including Knight from you."
I wave my hand and move away. Pulling out a silk ribbon from my pocket. I had asked Old Crazy to get me a link. This was what I had to work with for Linda. The girl was a seventh generation half blood seer. The probability of her bloodline activating naturally was about the same as being struck by lightning naturally.
"I always deliver." I said, then I activated the spell.
In a blink, I was in front of a small cottage in the woods. It was like a two-day drive from my home so I was saving lots of time with one spell.
The problem is spell cost magic. I am still poor. I need to save magic up to trade for powers I need. Now, don't be confused. The difference of Magic is like Mana in RPG games that is spent in skills and spells. Only magic doesn't regenerate as quick as Mana. To get to full health may take sixteen to twenty meals. For me that's around a month or so.
Now power is the access to powers that spells cannot do or if it can do the price would be so high you really don't want to do it.
