As some of the others had said, there is some need for make-up here and there. But it doesn't mean this is a bad story. The story is great, I followed it up to the end from the time it was around the beginning. I must say that I anxiously awaited the updates while it was ongoing. Leo, keep the good stuff rolling. But next time don't be to nice with the end. Kill some people of it's not that bad. 😉😉 I'm waiting for your next work, so I could indulge in it like a good reader should.
I like this kind of fresh novel that takes a different twist on things. Another approach that isn't a system novel or another world novel! Though there are some jumps here or there between perspectives (that's mainly a personal gripe of mine) There aren't any major flaws in the story. I would give it a try definitely and with a bit of polishing, it could grow into the next big thing!
The premise itself is fairly intriguing. A world where magic sprang into being roughly around the new millennium. A mysterious being known as Naris who everyone fears. A government that rules through terror and fear. And a group of people who will oppose them at all costs. The pacing however, feels off. The narrator jumps between past and present tense. And none of the characters are truly introduced beyond their introduction chapters. With a little editing this story can definitely be great though.
