Everyone watched as Empress Feng slowly made her way to where the others were standing.
However, as she walked towards them, she looked so out of this world that everyone grew self-conscious.
Every step from her was so soft that they could barely hear her footsteps.
What was quite astonishing for the rest to see was the long entourage that followed Empress Feng from behind. Their steps were so in unison that they could almost pass as a small troop.
While Li Gui Fei's maids slowly lowered themselves to avoided the Empress, the midwives were also starting to make mistakes here and there just by looking at the Empress.
It was like she could see through their mind with just one glance.
They all weren't sure of what was going on, but the atmosphere between their masters was truly too suffocating for them to be in.
As servants, they were scared of even overhearing their master's conversation.

It feels like this chapter has eaten up all of my braincells.
I really put a lot of thought into this chapter, so it took me some time to craft this up. I decided to keep this chapter long because it's too short to separate it into two chapters and I didn't want to keep you hanging, so here we are.
