"VIIK MAH THAAR!"

Defeat, Fall, Obey. Words of absolute dominance. Words said by someone who is dominant and sadistic. Comprehending those words was the easiest Jon could ever do.

This was an Original Shout that Jon made. A shout that breaks the hearts of men by 'Viik' (Defeat), bends the knees of men by 'Mah' (Fall) and pressure the heads of men by 'Thaar' (Obey).

A shout meant for a Tyrant.

The Throne Room of the Blue Palace witnessed the most shocking scene that happened in ages. All were kneeling for one man and those who couldn't resist at all were kowtowing.

Still, Jon was mindful. He spared some from the effect of the shout by his will. Those were Torygg, the Jarl, the Ambassador and his people. They were simply standing but one the brink of falling down as well.

Torygg looked around himself and saw the tens of people in his throne room all kneeling to Jon, Erikur was on his knees and head in front of Jon's foot and Jon himself enveloped in his demonic Tyrannical Aura.

Just what on Nirn did happen for Jon to go this wild?

The suppression was strong but it seemed that Jon started to focus his anger on Erikur. People started to feel lighter and raise their heads but that's as far as they could do, their curiosity made them look up but their instincts kept them kneeling.

Jon stretched his hand towards Erikur and pulled his head up by the hair.

"Worm, speak." Jon's voice was cold, it carried no hint of any emotions but deep anger.

His soul-crushing stare dug deep in Erikur who continued to grit his teeth and endure.

"I'll break you, worm. I'll show you suffer that no mortal can withstand. Want to live? Talk."

Even on the edge of death, Erikur kept a stubborn head and his mouth was shut.

"Thane Jon, please… tell us what happened?" Torygg mustered enough will to speak.

"It is Chief Wulfur, Thane Jon's brother. He was supposed to go through the 'Reach' to Orsinium. Erikur must have done something." Jarl Korir, who wasn't affected by the shout that much replied.

"Dammit! Thane Jon, this is no place for violence. Whatever happened, let us interrogate Thane Erikur and send an Imperial Attachment to the Reach. No need for violence." Count Pavo, who was fairing the best under Jon's pressure, decided to put the matter on hold.

'Damn, those Nords. They lose the aim of things and put everything on the line! How did a beast like that show up in Skyrim?' He thought. Clearly, Erikur was so absorbed in finishing Jon's business empire to the point that he ignored Jon's personal power.

Jon wasn't listening to anyone and threw Jon across the room to the High King.

"Make him speak… your Grace." He said.

'What 'Your Grace'?' Torygg wanted to shout. There was no grace left at all in this hall.

"Damn you, Erikur. Just how low did you fall?" Falk Firebeard looked at Erikur and cursed.

Erikur finally felt the pressure getting lighter as soon as he got away from Jon. He barely mustered enough power in his arm and looked up to Torygg.

"Erikur, what have you done in the Reach?" Torygg asked.

"… Your Grace, I only… I only hired the Foresworn."

"… You imbecile!" Torygg couldn't help but cuss.

Who are the Foresworn? They are the worst patch of mortals one can cross-path with other than a Thalmor Justiciar Team. Formerly known as the 'Madmen of the Reach' or simply the 'Reachmen'. A group of Daedra worshipers that inhabited the Reach Hold even before the days of Tiber Septim. They invaded Markarth not too long ago and were driven out by Ulfric Stormcloak.

Now those same Foresworn were hired by the King's Thane to put down a rival.

Still, there was one question left.

"Did you fake Wulfur's invitation to Orsinium?" Jon asked.

Erikur didn't answer and simply smiled.

And so it was like that. Wulfur was baited to get out of Winterhold to with some trick. Jon remembered that there were a few Orcs who came to witness Wulfur's smithing before inviting him to Orsinium but that was surely a play. Once Wulfur took the road to Orsinium through the Reach Hold, Erikur hired the Foresworn to attack Wulfur and it was all a bait to send Jon after Wulfur where another bait will be waiting for him. That's how the people understood it.

Erikur wasn't feeling scared the slightest. He was sure that Jon won't kill him as they were in Haafingar and it was the truth. Killing Erikur in Haafingar in front of the High King is a declaration of war but other than that, Jon is free to do whatever he wants with Erikur who was very direct with his intentions of killing Jon.

Jon proceeded toward Erikur who was thrown at the feet of Torygg, his intent to hurt Erikur was clear and he was going to use every mean to draw out information from Erikur.

He took the first step and before he takes the second, someone blocked his way.

"That's enough." Sybille Stentor had to step up in front of Jon.

Going wild in the Blue Palace and not regarding the High King was like slapping Torygg on both cheeks. Still, it was surprising that Sybille was the first to free herself from Jon's suppression.

"Move." Jon ordered.

"I said, that's, enough." Sybille stood fully in the way of Jon not caring about consequences no more. A lot was on stake here. She was prepared to fight Jon and her claws elongated under her sleeves.

Jon could tell so but he didn't care too and simply walked past her. Just as Sybille attempted to stop him, the small girl in black dress and hat stood for her.

Both Nefertiti and Sybille were monsters among monsters. A Vampire and a Werebeast, the legendary counterparts. Sybille tried to brush of Nefertiti but the latter was even more overbearing that Jon. She transformed into her Beast Form in an instant and stood face to face with Sybille.

The situation was getting way out of control.

The appearance of the large cat that emitted enough power to lock Sybille Stentor in her place was adding more chaos to the chaos. Those who saw the cat remembered the tales they heard about Winterhold that there was a large black cat-like beast has befriended Jon Dare. Now that beast was that young girl. Only a few had a better guess.

"Is that… a Firemane Familiar?" Bryling asked.

The Firemane Familiars are the beasts that the Firemanes associate their clan with such as the Dire Wolves, the Scar Grizzly Bears, the Snow Hawks… etc. It was the only explanation even though it didn't answer anything.

Not daring to ignore Jon who was already in front of Erikur, the people shifted their gaze from Nefertiti and Sybille deadlock to Jon and Erikur.

"Trinvaak (speak), worm. I will either know what I want with swiftness or with pain." Jon said.

"… Oblivion swallows you." Erikur cussed at Jon.

"Is that so? Fine, sing for me. FAAZZ AUS AG!" (Pain, Suffer, Burn)

A second shout was unleashed by Jon. The words were ever so domineering as the first shout but the effect targeted only Erikur.

Everyone looked at Erikur who was complete as he is. He wasn't shredded in pieces or kowtowing to the ground. He was just still. Only a second later did the people realize the effect of the words.

His eyes widened, his body quivered and his soul shook. He was hit by another Thu'um created by Jon, the [Agony Shout]. Blood flowed from Erikur's eyes as if tears then a shriek followed.

"… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Imagine if someone was receiving all sorts of pain, not from the perspective of a Human but of a Dragon. To top that, the Thu'um was designed to cause agony and no kill that easily.

Erikur started rolling on the ground and bleeding like a dying hog. No person ever tried to approach this hellish scene and backed away once Erikur got nearer.

Jon was simply following him and looking down on him.

"Look at you, you squirm on the ground like a worm just like I said. If you want this to end, then tell me everything. A simple deal. A fair exchange, if my brother lives out of this, I won't come for your life. I am a man of my word. Tinvaak! (Speak!)"

Jon stepped on one of Erikur's legs to stop him from squirming away. Erikur was struggling for his life under the unending pain he has put it. A pain that came from latterly every piece of his body.

"I'LL TALK! AAAAAAA! I'LL TALK! STOP! MAKE IT STOP! IT BURNS!"

Jon didn't want to waste any more time and stopped the torture he inflicted on Erikur.

What Erikur said afterward confirmed all the guesses of the people. Even the message that Falk Firebeard had in his hand had some details that confirmed what Erikur said.

This time, not only Winterhold but also Markarth was also very offended. To simply stir trouble in the Reach Hold around Markarth was already insulting enough and Jarl Igmud was foaming from anger.

"Your Grace, the crimes of Jarl Korir transcends beyond the Skyrim. The Reachmen problem was always something that worries the Empire and Thane Erikur is also a partner to the East Empire Company. With Thane Jon's accusations, his crimes will be judged not only in front of Solitude but in front of the whole Skyrim and an Imperial Court." Count Pavo was the first to throw Erikur under the mammoth.

High King Torygg only nodded and held his head.

Jon was already done and didn't bother with anything else, he simply cast a curse on Erikur and turned around.

"We are leaving." He said and the whole envoy of Winterhold moved. Even Jarl Korir was not pleased with the situation and walked beside Jon.

"Jarl Korir, Thane Jon." Someone called for them.

Surprisingly, that was King Torygg.

"Solitude is at fault here. Let us handle this situation. Your presence is essential for both the Assembly and the case your filing against Erikur. If you leave right now, things will become complicated. You can search the Reach on your own let alone reach it now."

Jon paused and turned around.

"It is my brother."

"You are walking into a trap!" Torygg shouted at Jon.

"And so be it." Jon said and left the throne room with those words.

Outside the Blue Palace, the people of Winterhold stood together.

"Jull, take the ship and head back to Winterhold."

"I am coming."

"Nefertiti is coming, I need you there to deliver the situation to the Alina, Nurina and the Firemanes."

Jullanar dejectedly nodded.

"Jarl Korir. My best security team will escort you back to Winterhold safe and sound. I doubt Erikur's associates will stop after this. I am going after Wulfur."

"Godspeed!"

Jon and Nefertiti separated from the group and walked into the city of Solitude. Jon already had a plan in mind. He walked towards a building he visited once before in Solitude back when he wasn't even a student at the College. There were the means he needed to reach Markarth as soon as possible.

As he walked through a corridor, out of nowhere, someone held his hand tightly.

"Hey, let go…" Jon was in a sour mood and was about to lash at whoever that was only too look at her and freeze in his place.

It was the Dark Elf Shrine Priestess of Azura, Aranea Ienith.

"Lady Azura greets you, Jonhild. Your Labours have begun."
