Capítulo 23: The Electrical Sword
"Li'er, why do you need to create the electrical sword? You can just shroud it with your Qi, right?" Tian Feng asked half joking.
"humps... do you think that everyone has a lot of Qi to spare like you?" She answers irritatingly and paused for a moment before she said calmly "Our Qi is neither as pure as yours nor a lot more than yours.
If I use my Qi to shroud the sword all the times while fighting, it will prevent me from using other attacks that are not electrically based as I can't fuse two attributes yet. Besides, it'll shorten my stamina.
The power is also reduced a lot compared to your pure Qi. That's why I want to create this sword that will draw upon the atmosphere energy to create electricity Qi. I just need to activate it with a little of my Qi"
Tian Feng realized that he's different from other cultivators because of the Celestial Immortal Art. Ordinary people don't necessarily follow any technique when they are at Basic Level.

Li'er suddenly smiles and said "Before I go to Chemistry hall, I didn't think that I can create this sword before breaking through to Mortal Realm but when I went there this morning, I happen to see a chemist using a method to get element from atmosphere for his experiment so I ask him about it.
The old man then gifted me the method to extract the specific element from the atmosphere. Then I went to the research hall to buy a research about the weapon that absorbs atmosphere Qi."
"Wow, you are so lucky, Li'er but did the old man ask you for anything in return?"
"No, why?"
"Nothing." [Maybe, I'm overthinking.]
Yuki: "Hahaha, you are indeed overthinking. What a dirty mind!"
[Yuki! you have nothing to do?]

Finally, Li'er has completed her sword. There were times when she got electrocuted by her own sword and she had to coat the handle with the nonconducting material before she could use it.
At first, the electricity that was generated went wild and couldn't be used for attacking at all. Tian Feng has to step in many times.
After many failures, the sword finally finished. They were both exhausted but they felt happy. Without taking any rest, they went outside of their room to test its power.
Tian Feng was standing still and let Li'er try attacking him.
Li'er infuses a bit of Qi into the sword to ignite the electricity generator inside the sword. She then swings the sword to touch Tian Feng arm.

Tian Feng got shocked. He had to use his electrical Qi to stop the attack otherwise he might just die then and there.
Next test, Tian Feng activate his Iron Man fist and take the sword blow. However unlike last time, this time his electrical effects are neutralized by the sword and produce a loud bomb sound.
Luckily, his fist still had steel effect and coupled with his body of steel level 1, he didn't suffer any injuries.
They did a few more tests before heading out to the researching hall but on the way there they saw people rushing toward the sparing arena. Tian Feng stops a person to ask what happened.
After a few questions, they understand the overall situations. It seems like the freshmen are having a ranking competition but they don't understand why had no one inform them about it as they are also freshmen.
Since the sun has already set anyway, they decided to go there and take a look as well as inquire about why they weren't informed about the matter. As such, they head toward the sparing hall swiftly.
Only after arriving there did they realized that this wasn't an official event. Some seniors said that he would take the freshmen out for missions but they only take the strongest few. Now everything made sense.
As freshmen are mostly kid and are the weakest bunch, there's not many mission they can take so they can only go on a mission if there's a senior in their team.
For seniors, they want to take advantage of this because if they go on a relatively easy mission with a bunch of kid, the reward would be mostly in their hands.
The reason that they both weren't informed was due to that among the freshmen, they are rumours to be strong and merciless. No one is going to tell them about something they deem good unless they are honest or stupid.
On the entrance exam day, many people know of Tian Feng merciless massacre and the next day, he fought with a senior without suffering any injury. A week ago, Li'er defeated a freshman without him able to retaliate at all and everyone know that she's with Tian Feng.
Both Tian Feng and Li'er didn't interest in going on a mission with seniors. They would only take a mission when they have attained the Mortal Realm. But both of them was staring into the stage with sparkling eyes as though they were staring at some kind of treasure.
Tian Feng saw points on everyone head as his imagination run wild. Li'er wants to test her sword power on this people. Without a word, they both entered the competition.
When everyone saw the two of them, they had gloomy looks. However, no one gives up the fight. If they did, they wouldn't be able to progress on the path of cultivation anymore. They don't want any trauma in their mental state.
The rule is simple. No killing.
This makes Tian Feng unable to use Piecing Bullet but it's not a problem because his strongest skill right now is his Divine Punch which has just levelled up to level 2.
Without Da Jing, there's 28 competitors and each of them pair with each other by drawing lots. This fight was short and easy for Tian Feng and Li'er. However, everyone noticed something. It's a strange qi form and both Li'er and Tian Feng is using them.
Many students who watch Li'er battle got interested with her sword. Throughout all of her fight, she didn't do anything much. The moment someone made a contact with her sword, they lost.
As for Tian Feng, he only stands in one place and let other people attack whenever someone attacks him, he will raise his arm to take on the attack and the attacker will lose.
Soon, they are reached the third round. Both of them exchanged a look and admit defeat. This left everyone a bewildered look on their face. They don't understand this at all.
To them, going on a mission is an excellent thing, they would get many experience and progress faster in their cultivation. They want to go so much that they are fighting with each other for the opportunity. Even Luo Qu is no different.
Going by their strength, clearing the rest rounds is as easy as flipping palm but they surprising admit defeat and both of them do it at the same time too. They can't be helped but feel like they were toyed with.
The seniors didn't stop them either because there are no rules that they can't admit defeat and they don't want intelligent people on their team as it's hard to coax them.
Since it's already dark, they can only visit the researching hall tomorrow. So they went back to rest.
Tian Feng is always happy when he got points. It was too bad that he didn't get to fight with everyone so he only gets 2000 points. Li'er was still thinking about her sword even after entering her room.
No one knows what she was thinking at the moment. Her expression changed from times to times. At times, it was exciting and at other times, it was worried. Sometimes it's hesitation but it's soon replaced with determination.
Tian Feng is working with his Body Art as usual but it's getting harder and harder. He hopes that it would be completed by the end of this month. There are only 2 weeks left.
