Capítulo 3: First Day at The Senior Secondary (3)
Oh no! Now we will surely be late for our classes. To think of which, I don't even know which class to go.
"Hey, do you know which is the classroom for science?"
"And arts?"
Now that the corridors were mostly empty as all the students had already made their ways to their respective classes, spotting a school staff wasn't as difficult like before. Lili and Genea got hold of a staff over there who immediately helped them with the directions. They both bid farewell to each other and rushed for their classes.

Lili quickly hurried to the direction shown by the staff and successful reached the classroom just on time. She chose a seat in the corner of the room, a seat not among the first benches but not too much in the behind.
Soon the class teacher's voice was heard and quickly the attendance of the day was called. Then the class teacher asked each of the students to introduce themselves.
One by one, everybody introduced themselves. They told their names and from which school they had come from.
Soon it was Lili's turn. She stood up gracefully as she addressed the teacher and the students and introduced herself.
After she finished her introduction she sat down once again and concentrated on the introductions of her classmates.
Suddenly her gaze stilled to a spot where a boy stood up with a cold and desolate look on his face to introduce himself with utter nonchalance.
Wait, isn't it the boy who had helped me back there and prevented me from falling down?
She stared at his perfect profile and sub consciously felt captivated by his charm as she was caught in a daze. Once again she felt that weird sense of familiarity between them, as if she knew him.
Why do I feel like this?
I have clearly never met this boy before.
But still, why do I feel I have known this boy for ages?
When she ragained her consciousness she found herself locked into the gaze of the beautiful pair of pitch black eyes and she was left stunned once again.
He.. why is he looking at me like that?
She unknowingly returned his gaze and strangely found her heart beating faster, her breath being increasingly ragged, and her whole body engulfing in a strange warmth.

Suddenly, the class teacher's bold yet warm voice was heard.
"Hope you enjoy learning in our school and can feel at home. Any trouble you face, you much contact me. Study hard. I wish all of you success in the year ahead.
Also, your seniors have arranged for a humble 'Fresher's Welcome Party'. We would be greatly elated if you all enjoy yourselves in the party and make friends with your classmates and seniors. That's all for now. Thank you class."
After the teacher left, the whole class was in ecstasy and uproar as everybody enthusiastically began to plan about the upcoming welcome party thrown for the first year's.
The only people who continued to be in silence were the two of them- Lili and that mysterious boy.
Once again Lili's eyes darted back to the far end of the classroom, diagonally opposite to her seat. That's when she found that the boy was looking at her too, and their gazes... collided.
Coincidence..right?
Yeah..it has to be so..
Lili quickly lowered her eyes before she got captivated by his eyes for once more, as her cheeks reddened a bit and she felt that inexplicable warmth creeping from her innermost part and slowly spreading throughout her entire body

"Hey, what are you meditating about? Let's go to the cafeteria and fetch something to eat. My stomach is rumbling hard."
Lili was snapped back to the reality by the ramblings of Genea.
It is then she realised that the classes of the first half were already over and it was recess. All this time she was in a trance as she did not have any recollections of her taking out the notebooks of her classes and jotting down the class notes.
Instinctively, she looked up in the direction of the boy's seat. But all she got in return was an empty seat.
"Hey, what are you looking here and there for? Miss Lonely, don't you even feel hunger now? Has even that sensation left you?", teased Genea.
Lili let out a soft giggle and nodded in the negative. Then she quietly followed Genea out of the class towards the cafeteria.
Genea was long habituated by Lili's extensively quiet demeanor and so she didn't find Lili's attitude suspicious at all.
Soon, they found themselves seated in the cafeteria.
"What are you eating? I am getting myself a cold coffee and some toasts. Do you want some?", asked Genea.
Lili didn't have much appetite so she just said, "No, just get me one or two muffins and bring me the cold coffee you are taking; thanks".
Genea pursed her lips for short while and opened her mouth to say something, but then dropped the idea. She turned around and walked towards the order desk, leaving Lili all alone on the table.
