"oh how stupid I have been, I can't believe I avoided Lust,he must be so angry at me"Chris mumbled softly while wiping her tears away.
"He can never be angry at an angel like you and am sure he cares more about you and your smile than anything else"Umaera said with a cheeky smile.
Chris cheeks became warm,she couldn't help blushing. She and lust haven't really had a moment because of all that has been happening. Her feelings for him are still jumbled up within her. It being her first ever relationship added to her fear and confusion but she was sure as hell that he was the one she wanted to stay with forever, considering she has lost alot in just a few days of being here.
"Ready to go back?"
"C-can we stay a little longer...I feel at peace here"Chris replied softly. She closed her eyes and laid down facing the sun. Her red hair flowed on the flowers making her look like a goddess descended from heaven, a contrast to what she really is.
Umaera stared, admiring the beauty in front of her. She couldn't help but be amazed at how one with an angelic beauty could be an offspring of the bringer of death. what a joke!
They stayed together till it became late. The sun went down and the sky was now dark with a blazing yellow moon shining down on them.
"This place is so mysterious but beautiful"Chris spoke admiring the moon.
"Mmh...but we have to go, it's getting late and we don't want Sir Lust to be worried"Umaera said standing up and lending Chris a hand.
"I wish I could stay here forever, inside their suffocates me"Chris sighed painting the memory of the entire field in her mind.
"Am sure Sir Lust will show you around one-day. It's actually not that different from your world. Maybe a little creepy in some areas but we do have a town and people too you know as odd as it may sound since hell is suppose to be a place for torment alone. But we do have a life here and only souls of humans goes to the deeper chambers of hell where they are punished and demons of cause who breaks the rule. But that's not important right now"Umaera said trying to give her hope.
Chris eyes sparkled with curiousity when she heard 'town and people'. The only people she was opportunied to see where those in the palace and she hasn't really visited anywhere else.
"Really? That would be amazing. Am definitely going to ask him" she said smiling widely.
"Okay let's go! Can you teleport yourself?"Umaera asked.
"Umm..can you hold me and teleport us,i-i think I have forgotten how to. I w-wasn't in control of my body when I did it that time"she whispered with a sad glint in her eyes. Umaera heard her nontheless and held her hand, together they teleported back to her room where they found lust waiting by the window.
Umaera bowed to him and disappeared leaving them alone.
Chris suddenly felt nervous being so close to him. His presence did do something to her before but now the reaction it's getting out of her is much worse. She felt so attracted to him. It's as if she could take a whiff of his masculine scent without even getting close. She could smell his Cocoa and coffee scent making her sigh in satisfaction.
"Enjoying the view?"Lust smirk as he stood close to the window with his hand in his pocket staring at her.
Chris kept her head down blushing.
Lust chuckled at how timid she suddenly became. He moved towards her and gently held her hands staring at them.
He gently placed her palm on his chest making her raise her head and stare at him curiously . Her eyes never left his, making her feel pulled towards it like a spell was casted on her.
"Do you hear that ?"he whispered to her.
"Here what?"Chris asked dazily
"The beating of my heart"He said, firmly holding her hand on his chest.
Chris tore her gaze away from his eyes and listened to his heartbeat. It's rapid beating felt by her hand. Every blood it pumps she could feel it on her palm.
"Y-yes"she said breathlessly.
"It's actually saying something you know"he said gently pulling her closer.
"W-what?"she asked.she felt so confused about what they were discussing. Her breathe came out in form of pants.
"I.... love...you"he replied crushing her body with his. There was no space left between them.
Chris eyes watered when she heard him say that. Of course she knows he loves her and has heard him say it before but at this moment it felt so right and like it was the right thing at the right moment.
At this moment,it felt like nothing can ever come in between them. She felt like she could climb the tallest mountain and sail through the deadliest seas as long as she has him by herside.
"A-am so sorry"
"Am sorry I was a burden and d-didn't make things easy for you"She said biting her lips trying to prevent her tears from falling from her eyes.
"Shhhhh....never apologize to me again love" he said to her seriously.
"You were never a bother to me...okay? Never"he spoke with finality. Chris nodded her head and laid it on his chest as he held her close and rocked their body slowly.
"Thank you Lust...for not giving up on me"she mumbled on his chest and inhaled his masculine scent some more before she shut her eyes giving in to his warm embrace.
Lust hummed a tone to her and rocked her body to it.
"Where did you learn that song from..."she mumbled sleepily snuggling closer to his chest.
"My mom. When I was a baby,I gave her a lot of headache and refused to sleep at night. She would always hum this song for me and it would make me sleep"he said to her reminiscing the beautiful moments he spent with his mother when he was little.
'What happened to that woman? Where did she go?'
"It's beautiful"Chris sleepily said
"Mmmh, now let's get you to bed"Lust carried her princess style towards the bed and slowly laid her down. He stared at her beautiful face slowly running his hand through her hair.
He stood up ready to let her rest when she held his arm preventing him from leaving.
"Stay"She mumbled with her eyes closed
Lust knew she was exhausted after all that crying so he tried prying her hand off him but she held him tightly.
"Please..."she mumbled.
Lust felt weakened at her pleas. He doesn't want it to look like he is using her since they haven't come that far yet. But seeing how much she wanted him to stay,he gave in and proceeded to the other side of the bed where he laid down on his back with his arms under his head and stared at the ceiling.
Chris snuggled closer to him and laid her head on his chest. She kept on moving till she found a comfortable position and relaxed succumbing to sleep.
Lust glanced at her and smiled at how she squeezed her eyebrow whenever her hair falls over her face. He used his finger and lightly pushed her hair away from her face and caressed her soft cheeks.
"So young ,vibrant ,full of curiosity and definitely not my type of woman....."
"....but i think I was stupid then cause who wouldn't love a soul like yours"he mumbled with hushed tone trying not to wake her up.
"Those idiots will laugh at me now if they see me, holding a woman with so much care "he said chuckling at himself.
"Oh how the mighty has fallen..."he chuckled.
"but as long as it's you,I don't mind falling over and over again"he said lightly kissing her head.
"Sweet dreams love"he whispered to her and slowly withdrew pulling away from her and leaving the room.
