Drake nodded and took his seat and waited for Jon to continue.
"Well, you see. Since the hill tribes raided, I was thinking of a way to solve this problem peacefully, once and for all." Said Jon.
"So do you have any ideas or suggestions for me?" asked Jon while looking at Drake.
Well now why he was asking Drake had killed all of the hill tribes. Well that's simple he didn't kill all of them as hill tribes lived in small groups of settlements when they didn't attack villages they attacked themselves and raided that because someone uniting few of these tribes.
That's why it was on such a large scale as many small tribes came together to become such a big tribe. All these people died at the hands of Drake's force. but few tribes escaped from the hands of the one who brought them together.
And if Drake wanted he could have hunted them all but he didn't as there is already disappearance of twelve thousand people and if all the hill just disappeared in one night could have created a great suspicion. as it would have been the disappearance of twenty thousand people and let me tell you one thing twenty thousand people can't just disappear in one night without anyone realizing it.
So to avoid more suspicion than he already got he avoided killing them all.
Drake took some time to think about this problem while Jon waited for him to answer. After a few minutes, he started speaking.
"Well, you see, Lord Arryn. Due to the long feud between the vale and hill tribes, I can only give you three suggestions. The first is obviously to eliminate each one of them in a full-sweep attack taking them by surprise. I can help you come up with a strategy to help you achieve that. or you can just say I would send my man. It won't take long to end a bunch of barbarians,
As from what I heard from my spy network.
most of them burned alive in the forest fire that happened just some time ago so most if not tribes are at their weakest time but I'm sure they already know this after all fire was not small and screams were heard even from as far as here and now its called cursed grounds and anyone goes their dies a place in the middle of the forest that is devoid of the life," Said Drake and waited for Jon to digest this idea.
"Yes yes I'm aware of that. It is good that it rained that very night, otherwise everything would have been burnt to ashes. We could have suffered heavy losses. Especially Agriculture and the death of thousands upon thousands of people of the Vale.
Jon didn't wait and shook his head at once, it seemed he didn't want to continue using force.
"No, as I do prefer a peaceful method. What is your second idea?" asked Jon.
Drake nodded and started voicing his second idea.
"My second suggestion is to promise them part of the Vale. You will have a peace talk with them and offer them lands to make them come down the mountain. But due to the long feud, this suggestion might have three outcomes, not to mention other problems. The first outcome, they would refuse and kill the messengers. The second outcome, they would accept but the lords of the vale and lords of Westeros will refuse and start another fight. The third outcome, they would accept but the future generation wouldn't and another feud starts. Not to mention their way of life of raiding and taking women r@ping them. Plus, they wouldn't bend a knee to the Targaryen and they order you to kill them." Said Drake illuminated the different outcomes and problems.
Jon took his time to ponder this suggestion and Drake's words about the outcomes and problems. After half an hour, he could only finally sigh. Although this was also one of the solutions, after hearing Drake's words, he could see that it was not feasible.
"And what is the last one?" asked Jon, putting his hope on the next suggestion.
"Well, The feud was mainly between the vale and hill tribes. So if you promise them land outside the vale and teach them how to live a civilised life, then the problem is solved. So I suggest either you wait for me to become a lord and handle them correctly or you suggest this to father or Lord Stark." Said Drake.
Jon weighed his options and knew that his best shot was really with Drake.
"But you will have the same problems." Said Jon.
"I know but at least after teaching them to live normally. I would get rid of their desire to revenge the vale and the disagreement of the lords of the vale. Plus this operation would take years to finalise and continue peace talk and resources by then I would have a way to settle the rest.
And if it didn't work out I could just as easily swing my sword and end all of it" Explained Drake.
Jon could only nod after hearing this and decided to trust Drake with the rest.
And just like that time flew by half a year after Drake's conversation with Lord Arryn, it was 272 AC this year is about to end. During those years a lot had happened.
First, Drake continued his peace talks with the hill tribe and was finally able to persuade them. Although it was hard, he convinced them to leave their old ways for the sake of their children and for the glory that he would bring to them.
Then he used his old trick and showed them his godly powers and status and they all kneel when the blood rained from the sky as the lord floated above the ground...
Lord Arryn provided the funds for this project and provided different people to teach the hill tribes how to grow their corps. Although Drake had better ways to increase the harvest, he decided to wait for them to move to his lands first.
The population of Hill tribes flowered and their numbers increased. The funds needed for this project were large plus they still needed to be moved to Storm's Lands.
Drake persuaded his father about the project and told him that those Hill tribes were loyal to him and that was true after the time they spent together. They even called him 'Drake from the Baratheon tribe'.
After convincing his father who in turn managed to persuade Arys, who still had some of his sanity. Now, the problem was where to move them. Drake had thought of this long ago and he pointed the location to his father.
His father didn't ask why and agreed. The location that he chose was to the northeast of Griffin's Roost. A mountain area between Storm's End and Griffin's Roost. Drake was planning for the rebellion and decided to circulate the lands of the three houses that betrayed Robert in his previous life. He was forming his net of control.
The castle, to be built, would be called Tribe's Cave. The different tribes united into five houses that will lord Tribe's Cave and the area around it with Mountain house lording Tribe's Cave as the main house. It was a house formed of big tribes. The tribes would be moved completely by 275 AC.
During these years, Drake didn't forget his training. He spent all his free time in hell training that his men were afraid of. His swordsmanship reached a perfect state. His body was tall and macular due to his training. He was sure he could take Arthur Dayne head-on and defeat him in minutes without using any of his power.
He also didn't forget the different ways that could be killed. And continued with all his experiments, while Salvia was about to succeed in building a serum that could awaken humans potential for magic without the influence and insurance of higher power.
So he trained his force with poison resistance. It was hell and disgusting training. He also learned some first aid to help him in case he was injured or something. Same with his force as with his knowledge they were now highly aware of how the body worked.
And because of enchantments their bodies and minds became very capable and soon they started to brawl with animals just like him. He also started to hand over magical weapons to the most capable of his soldiers.
So they could learn how to use them and get familiar with the weapons. And seeing their brothers wielding such broken weapons every soldier had a new fire in their eyes to train even more and get the chance to wield weapons of such power.
And soon the time of the Anniversary Tourney was here. He had been waiting for this day since last year.
O.o.O
"I understand... It's a shame this has to happen, but that's the way it has to be. Although keep in mind you had to return with the new title as if you lose this you would become a laughing stock and all the people who gave you titles such as "Monster Among Men" "God Among Mortal" "The Unbeaten" "The Unbeatable" and you had If you lose this, you will have to walk with your head down for the rest of your life. And the name of Baratheon will be found in the soil. And everything you have done till now will not be remembered but this defeat will always be remembered. This defeat will be associated with your name." Jon told me with a bitter smile that I could tell was sincere.
As he saw me as his son of short and didn't want a single loss to define the rest of my life and told me only a few potential things that could happen if I lost. As loss could even be greater as I could very well lose the heir of house Baratheon or worse the name Baratheon itself. And had to go to the castle black on the wall. Which would be the greatest loss just for some name. A grave bragging.
So it's pretty understable what he is trying to say, as he sees me like a son that he never had and cares about me so he's trying to stop me.
"Yes, I know that all Lord Jon, that's why I don't have any plans to lose and I'll be back, with one more accomplishment and few more titles and the name Ser on my name."
"And it would be cowardly to retreat now and I would be a laughing stock because by now all of Westeros knows that my name is on the list of challengers."
Hearing me he sighs and now he knows I will definitely go there, "Yes, that's true but it would far better then losing everything you build or even worse death" " But well I won't be stopping you I know you won't back down, and I had seen you done many miracles things so I just you come back as winner."
"Yes, I will,"
Hearing me he just nodded and retreated from the area. Where everyone was waiting for me.
There were eleven people on the huge ship, my best of the best "loyal" soldiers, as it is gonna be a show of power and these will be sufficient enough to even beat armies and expel Maester as healer, and Silver along with Copper. Silver was the most skilled and loyal warrior I had available, but he was still young. He is a monster. He will be more in the future.
Diablo, is more of a bow and spear man, Dino is more of a speed demon that specializes in speed and hit and run tactics. And just like they all are masters in their own forms of combat. There is also as I turned to look at her.
