After some time Hela and Ina had finally finished their breakfast.
Hermes was looking forward to the couple while watching television, cooking shows were also very good.
Well, it was obvious that he was a huge fan of human-made food.
Hela started to button her shirt and stopped briefly at her chest.
She looked at her scar.
She stared at her reflection in the mirror, feeling full of mixed feelings.
There was no longer any sign of injury, in fact it took longer for her to recover from the state of ecstasy that left her in the middle of daydreams than it did to actually remove her heart.
Her wounds were almost immediately healed and after a short rest she was already in great condition.
Ina, who was already fully dressed, had her eyes on her wife.
Hela continued to look at her scar for a few moments and tried to feel her heartbeat.
It was a strange sensation not to feel the pulse.
But she was snapped out of her thoughts by feeling Ina wrap her arms around her waist.
Hela could see Ina's red eyes and smiled.
"What are you thinking?"
Hela didn't know what she was thinking, she was just trying to get used to her current situation. "I'm thinking I love you..."
Ina smiled, knowing full well that this was just a way to change the focus of the conversation, but she didn't care.
She accepted that as an incomplete answer.
She lightly kissed Hela's neck eliciting a few sighs. "I know you love me very much, but besides me… What were you thinking about?"
Hela who couldn't resist Ina much sighed giving up completely.
"I don't know... I just feel weird..."
Ina and Hela stared at each other for a few moments before finally feeling Ina turning her around so they were facing each other.
Ina placed her hand over the scar on Hela's chest and lightly caressed it with her fingertips.
The two looked at each other and the air seemed thin.
Ina brought her lips to the exposed skin and a sequence of kisses began.
She ventured out tracing a path from her neck to her scar.
They had chosen to marry, they had chosen to love each other, and they had chosen to lose themselves completely in that love.
They chose not to have choices about the two of them.
Ina felt her heart racing, her body was hot.
Helen was beautiful.
She was so beautiful to the point of leaving Ina speechless, there was no way to define Hela in her heart.
Her heart was overflowing with love.
Ina at that moment fed on her wife's sighs and caresses, feeling the feeling of dependency on the other's body grow more and more.
Her voice husky and almost silent, Ina let herself be carried away by desire. "I just love you so much..."
Hela watched the reddened eyes and could understand very well that they were filled with lust, with love and affection.
But she knew she wouldn't be able to contain herself if she started doing anything and on top of that she had Hermes waiting for them on the couch in the living room.
Last thing she wanted was to make someone wait or even be interrupted.
"Hermes is waiting for us..."
Ina smiled, feeling funny.
She didn't really care about Hermes, he was already an adult and could leave alone... The most important thing at that moment seemed to be just the two of them.
She kept her face against Hela's face.
Breaths clashed and the heat only built.
Ina had her lips close to Hela's ears.
The whispered voice was like a soft, velvety pillow. "Don't you want to keep him waiting for a while?"
Hela could feel her ears warm. Too hot. Maybe it wasn't just the ears that were hot.
Hela felt dizzy and completely intoxicated.
Confused and lost in her thoughts and not even remembering that all that dialogue had started with the scar on her chest.
Yep, Ina had definitely nailed it in a good way to keep her distracted. "I don't know..."
Ina lowered her gaze and stared at the scar.
Kissing her once…twice…three times… "I'll do just what you want, honey."
Hela let out a sigh and hugged her tightly, not allowing even a little space to allow Ina to touch her body freely.
If she didn't stop Ina now, she wouldn't stop later.
She wouldn't have the strength or will for that.
Her voice muffled, she spoke almost as if she begged for mercy. "If we do something I won't be able to be quick... I'll want you for longer and longer... Longer... Longer... Until when we realize you've spent a whole day trapped in this bed... "
Ina smiled and lightly stroked Hela's back. "Then finish getting dressed and the sooner we leave, the sooner we can come back..."
Hela watched her wife's smiling face and nodded, they would definitely get back home soon.
Hermes watched Ina emerge, full of smiles.
Of course, it doesn't take a god or a seer to realize that they definitely were a couple brimming with intimacy and passion.
All you needed was a pair of eyes and a brain.
Really interesting, after all they went about 500 years without even kissing.
Hermes was obediently sitting on the couch watching cooking shows.
One after the other.
He could spend the whole day that way and not get tired.
Noticing Ina's good mood he could do nothing but feel extremely funny and jokingly said: "If the other gods see how happy you are with Hela they will be jealous..."
Ina smiled and took the opportunity to sit next to Hermes while she waited for Hela to finish getting dressed.
She kept thinking about Hermes' prank.
Despite being a joke, there was a grain of truth.
The gods were unpredictable.
They could be mighty and just.
Perhaps envious and ambitious.
Domineering and melancholy.
They could bless or condemn.
But Ina finally smiled and said in a light tone. "Well, I must trust Hela and our ability to stay together until the end."
Ina already knew how committed Hela was to their relationship and she would do her best to live up to expectations.
What they had was beautiful and sweet.
Ina wouldn't let it end.
Hermes smiled at Ina's determined and firm tone and had to agree that that was definitely a good answer.
But it would also be a good question: When would the end be?
Anyway, that wasn't a question they should be asking right now.
Hermes and Ina chatted for a few minutes until Hela emerged completely wrapped in several layers of clothing.
Hermes stared at Hela who looked more like a Christmas present and couldn't hide his laughter.
"Are you preparing for the worst winter in 10 years?"
Ina who couldn't laugh got up to remove at least a few excess cloths.
She thought her wife was beautiful and cute even though she was almost completely covered in clothes.
Ina removed the scarf that was wrapped around Hela's neck and asked gently. "You are used to the cold, why are you wearing so many clothes?"
She knew from all the reports she had heard from Hela that Niflheim was extremely cold and Helheim was just as cold.
So it wasn't very understanding for Hela to fear the cold.
Hela lowered her gaze and sighed, she was unsure.
She had never ventured outside her realm before, it was terrifying to imagine those people.
People alive and in their full state.
What could she think of them?
Hela was born as a goddess, daughter of Loki and Angurboda, she ruled the base of the world tree and was responsible for all those who were not able to fight after his death.
But she didn't have any kind of experience with the living like Ina.
She felt anxious mainly thinking that people could see her body and that would be really troublesome.
She naturally already wore gloves, but she still feared the unknown.
Ina could see Hela's complicated face and returned with the scarf.
She wrapped the cloth gently around her wife's neck.
"People will be too preoccupied with their own lives to hypothesize that you are a Norse goddess... If they look at you, it's out of admiration for your beauty..."
Hela smiled sheepishly and tried to hide in her scarf. "Don't talk nonsense..."
Ina smiled along with Hela and confessed. "I'm just jealous that my beautiful wife will be spending hours with smart, beautiful students... I don't want them to stare at you too much or try to get your attention... But I'm sure there will be people who will try. .."
Hela opened her mouth in an attempt to respond, but was stopped by Ina who covered her mouth with the blessed scarf. "Honey, I may not have good eyes, but don't question my ability to look at you and realize how beautiful you are… Understood?"
Hela nodded frantically.
She understood well, very well.
Hermes watched that scene and felt really curious about their family dynamics at home.
Really cute Ina bossing and Hela obeying.
After that brief dialogue, Hela reflected a little and removed all the excess cloth, just keeping the essentials to cover her body.
Unlike Loki, she didn't have the power to create illusions, so if someone saw her skin, they would see her muscles and bones completely exposed.
Really troublesome.
Finally after all that time Hela, Ina and Hermes left the house and walked to the university which was a few blocks away.
"On our way back we'll pass by where Ina's flower shop will be."
As they walked, they could see young people walking back and forth, talking excitedly about their school day.
Hela watched with some care, she always watched humans, but interacting with them is really more delicate for her.
As for Ina to be able to see what was in front of her, she would have to use her third eye... Well, she saw things she'd rather not see.
She could see cute teenagers filled with evil inside her.
Hela, noticing her wife's discomfort, enveloped her in a hug. "Are you okay?"
Ina nodded, she just wasn't used to seeing so many auras like that.
The third eye basically used Ina's life force and the more she used it the more tired she would feel and malicious auras sucked more energy than the others.
Well, Ina was being exposed to an insane amount of auras and it was making her mind go blank and her body exhausted.
Hermes, concerned about the situation, suggested. "Use the third eye when we are in quieter places, you need to use it calmly..."
Ina nodded and quickly her eyes returned to normal.
Hela kept her arms entwined with Ina's and so they walked all the way.
Finally when the huge building loomed before them Ina returned to the state in which she could see and felt dazzled by the magnitude and elegance of the place.
Hermes walked a little further ahead of the two and deftly guided them, until finally they reached the history department.
"Professor Hela, we arrived at the building you are going to work in… Shall we go inside?"
Hela filled her lungs with air and laced her fingers tightly with Ina's.
With a beautiful smile on her face she finally spoke. "Yea."
