Having taken a bath first, Wataru sat uneasily on the inn's bed.

Since the inn had separate communal baths for men and women, and both had wanted to wash off their sweat, they had decided to bathe separately.

There wasn't any particular reason to refuse, so Wataru had finished his bath and, with nothing else to do, sat waiting for them. The alcohol had completely worn off after soaking in the hot water.

In his hand was an aphrodisiac he had bought at a pharmacy. Inside the dark brown bottle was a thick liquid that sloshed around. The viscous substance was said to heighten a woman's pleasure, greatly ease any pain, and make her feel happy.
