Capítulo 68: Mystery unsolved (pt.2)

I squatted down in front of her, then took her cold hands with mine and started warming up her cold skin with my fire, which was slightly burning in our hands. She looked with her tired blue eyes at me, then her thin lips curled into a weak smile. 

"Thanks," her singsong voice was as weak as her look, but it was still as lively as always, which made me sigh with relief. I stood up, took the blanket from the other side of the sofa, and wrapped her in it, then squatted down again and took her hands in mine, casting the fire. She looked at me with a thankful look, then closed her eyes and put her head on the back of the sofa. I pressed her hands to my lips, looking at her without blinking, as if I was afraid she'd be gone.
