"You can tell, right? He deliberately took the City Lord away for you. I've never seen him so concerned about anyone. I think he really treats you as his father in his heart. You guard him like a mountain, and he hopes to guard you like a gurgling stream."

I can relate! 😂
Ling Yun stopped looking. He didn't like things that burned his brain too much.

She had worked so hard to buy the clothes of the Golden Silk Pavilion. So it was enough to be a prisoner in the Hundred Flowers Palace?

Why do i suddenly feel sorry for this heartbroken cultivator. His life and death were indeed woeful.
As for Heartbroken Cultivator, the Elder Council had also sent people to find him, but he had long frozen to death on the cliff.

She struck herself! 😅😆

Wait. This was a phone call, right? How can she describe the wariness in his eyes? Vid call?

I used to think when writers include lines of villains trying to blame everyone else but themselves, when something bad happens to them, was just ridiculous! Until I met someone whose world view is actually this way! A certified real-world… villain!
It was all Su Wan's fault!

This seemed awkward if they were side by side. Unless the mom was very tall, or she was standing while her daughter was sitting down.
Amara elbowed her daughter on the shoulder, gesturing for Lyra to go after Chase.

This was the first lengthy novel here that I read from start to finish! The characters, their interactions and development have all been well-written! I traveled, fell in love, fought in war, and saw everyone getting older, wiser and stronger! I love how the author just knew how and when to insert humor. I didn’t want the story to end because I wanted to read more, but at the same time I also wanted it to, to see how everything will be tied in—and the author did it beautifully! It started with a wedding and ended with a grand one too! It was both beautiful and sweet! Kudos to the author. I hope she gets paid well as I (and many others who followed this story) paid so much coins to read this lovely novel until the end!
