Konoha adopted a 2 male 1 female team policy. It’s impossible for him to take her place. Realistically it would either be taking Naruto’s spot or Sakura’s spot. Tho I only just started reading so idk if you followed through with that yet

The reason he felt somewhat guilty toward Sakura was because his goal was to take her place—specifically, her spot in Team 7.

0 chance there was 72 dragon eggs. Maybe 3 but not 72. Dragons wouldn’t be extinct if the Targaryens had 72 eggs to work with

Seventy-two dragon eggs remained in viable condition. They were now being kept in the Dragonglass tower with my other more secretive holdings. They were worth little to us except perhaps in trade, but perhaps someday I or my descendants would discover the method raising them once more. Until then they would sleep in the most secure place I could find.
