The plot is good, however, the gomu gomu no mi being obteined as a fruit and not as a quirk since the start, means that he may be cursed and can't swim, that's a great disadvantage if you are a hero who will find himself in multiple scenarios, if villains find out this, you surely will die. The second problem is just my personal opinion, the gomu gomu no mi of Luffy is too difficult to develop... he used his fruit for 12 years and only now he managed to awake his fruit. Yahari doesn't have haki and I really think haki is needed for the Fourth gear. It would be great if you added 'haki' as a secondary part of the power the fruits brings but I don't think it would make sense. Maybe adding it as a late awakening of his true quirk, since grandpa did have a quirk to strengthen it would makes sense. This are all my problems with the fruit, however, I don't know if you intend to give Yahari the akuma no mi curse since you didn't share this. It would be better to clarify this. Just a recommendation of my own. Though I've only 'complained', I really like the story so don't worry too much. I will keep reading, didn't intend to criticise you but pointing out some things i would like to know and some suggestions. Keep the story, you are doing great.

The story is wonderful, the details of everything, the characters and their personality, the conversations are lively, making their interactions look real. It's 'low pace' in some moments although may not be of the taste of some readers, grants more details that others(like me) would like so don't worry too much. I would definitely recommend this book, even if you're not a fan of the genre you could get a surprise here.
