is that The Spiffing Brit.
I said the poll would be open into October, don't worry. While I like the idea, I was aiming for reactions that feel more like the ones already in Genshin, and wood style doesn't quite mesh well with the other mechanics already present. I like the idea of having wood style in the story don't get me wrong, but it would be horrible for balance.

Those flames. Thats....Arlecchino. that older lady, she's unfamiliar. Switching off his elemental sight he looked at them with his regular sight. He looked at the older lady and he looked at her he slowly recognized her, he looked away frequently, pretending just to be a boy excited by his first visit to the Opera House.

welcome back Unusual_ . Thanks for the chapter, I look forward to seeing where this is going.
Exactly, that's the problem. It's one of the seven elements of Teyvat, and the way the game paints it is that it's only used as Geo constructs.
I was thinking of overhauling the Geo elemental reactions since compared to almost every other element, Geo is very boring. It's literally a crystalize reaction that gives the characters a different flavored shield depending on what the element Geo was reacting with. To keep things sort of in line with the continuinuity I was going to have the order of the application of elements to be vital, otherwise you just get the Crystalize reaction, I other words Geo is the base element that other elements are being applied to, if Geo is the secondary element it causes a Crystalize reaction.

yeah that's a fair point, the problem I'm having is that while it makes sense for Geo to react like that in a game, it doesn't really do much from a world building perspective. In my opinion at least. Teyvat revolves around elemental reactions, but if all Geo can do is Crystalize, then what is magma/lava? It just feels like Geo isn't pulling it's weight, or that folks aren't using it to it's full potential out of absurd amounts of ignorance. a element that doesn't really react to anything feels like it would stunt the growth or potential of a world, especially in a world governed by seven central elements.
