Yeah I was thinking the same, I just thought maybe I was losing my own memory lol! Not only that but has he not learned his lesson yet from all the other times he's tried again tried to control via the abyss and it has backfired horribly! The Ant turned on him and if not for the ancestor he would have had to kill it and the beastman betrayed him and is lost somewhere in the city doing god knows what to god knows who! Now he has given even more power to a perpetual doomsday device with intelligence that can not only sweep across his territory but the entire Doomsday City and all he had to do was not be greedy and do the right thing and just get rid of the potentially all life ending bug machine lmao!!
