Ok. Thanks for clarification.

On the New Indian City programme: Karan had pushed back on the FAR numbers. He thought FAR twelve to twenty for CBDs was aggressive for a political and social environment that had never seen buildings above fifteen floors outside Bombay. Sreedharan had agreed that the physical construction was not the constraint — Shergill Industries' engineering teams could build those buildings — but that market absorption was. They had landed on FAR eight to fifteen as the mandated floor, with higher FAR available through a density bonus programme for developments that met affordable housing quotas. Karan liked the density bonus mechanism: it turned housing policy into a market incentive rather than a government mandate, which meant developers competed to meet it rather than lawyers competed to evade it.

Isn't Tokyo the same? It is the most populous city in the world but you don't see skyscrapers jutting on every corner. Their tallest building is Tokyo Sky Tree which is an observation tower not a residential or a commercial building. The thing is skyscrapers look good for the bird eye view but it sucks the soul out of the city. There is a term in architecture called street frontage which refers to the design to match length of a roadway. It ensures buildings and roads are the same length to create a continuos, unbroken facade for a cohesive public space. Europe uses this methodology, Japan does but USA and Canada don't. An average person on ground level won't strain it's neck to look at a window 15 levels above. The "eye-level" threshold is only 5-6 stories. I am not making shit up. You can search google Or chatgpt they will give you the same answer. Only it will lead to making of wide roads, which will only be accessible by a car. So forget walking. Unless you want a car centric city with parking lots and a sprawling everywhere, just do some research again. Otherwise the story is solid. And the use of indigenous designs unique to the city is very good.

And, as Indrayu stated, glass buildings in India are a crime against humanity. The cities with these glass towers are situated in the north, which is cooler than the hell that is India. India's heat led the conservative British people to change their clothing, and that was in 18 and19th century.

There is no need to plant skyscrapers everywhere. FAR number 15 is too much. You don't have to make American-style cities because those are shit, and you have to have a car if you want to travel in those cities. Europe-style one would be more beneficial as they plan the cities with housing in mind, and also make it aesthetically pleasing.

Unfortunately, the other three sisters weren't in the dorm today, so it seemed like only Kim Yerin would get to enjoy her cooking!

I knew this coward would delete my comment and review. Those who want to read what I wrote, either click on my profile if you are using a laptop, because this guy would again delete it anyway.

She was such a good character, and now she lost all her integrity. And I don't think she feels much guilt either, by how she was blushing all the time.
