As you can see, I chose the Copy Ninja Kakashi Hatake, the person's strength that I chose to superimpose was Sakumo Hatake. There were options that would have made me stronger but would have been impossible to explain. An example of a stronger choice would be Itachi, giving me the Uchiha bloodline making me have overall stronger abilities.

When I say supporting character I mean he will focus on helping team seven, but doesn't mean he won't try to improve. He just won't reach Hashirama level or higher. He is op, but not to the point as a main character would be by fighting the people considered gods 1v1. He can still be highly helpful.
I probably will have him learn sage mode to actually help better for the war. Do you think that would be best?
Good Idea, but I like how it doesn't turn off. It holds him back so he has to be a supporting character which I want.
Any idea recommendations?
