Both petrificus and petrificus totalus are in the books, they are just different spells. In essence both are similar, as their intent is to petrify, but petrificus totalus is a higher level magic which can petrify an entire body upon hit, while petrificus will only affect a certain location, like the hands or legs. As for your question, the answer is actually no. The may indeed have extremely similar effects and incantations but just because you know how to cast petrificus and then add totalus at the end you won't actually get a stronger effect, as in essence the two are different spells. If you wanna cast the later you would not only need to know the full incantation and hand movement, which are obviously different, you would also need a higher level of control and different intent. Just like a student that can learn casting wingardium leviosa won't immediately be able to cast expeliarmus. also adding the adjective, according to the book, is actually an act of aritmancy as it requires calculations and stuff, just like inventing a whole new spell. It's not like you say lightning, and than say say strong lightning and later will be stronger... This requires adjustments to the whole spell. Hope this was clear and answers your question...

All those names are normal mate... Patrick is a super common name Noelle is abit rarer, but there is even a move by that name about a girl with that name. And Ethan is also very normal...

I understand that, I'm just saying that It's kinda pointless and misses the point of an SI where u enter the world as it was. This change has nothing to do with the MC's existence, hence it doesn't really make sense why something random like that changed... I'm not saying it's not okay, it's your story after all, but for me it makes the story less enjoyable tbh...

That's honestly just weird, I can understand changing the plot, but why change the original settings aswell? It literally has no benefit to the story...
