So We are just reading the story of some puppet that just follow others plan and has no control over any descisions in his life?
Now that is an actually smart idea. But still not perfect, since there is still a chance that the rules will change when Yaan is in closed cultivation and someone will ascend to 4th stage and land a surprise attack at the crucial moment
If he repeated this action and defeated everyone on the 4th level, then the 3rd and 4th levels would be completely empty…in this situation, due to the rules that bound the regular challengers, nobody in the 4th Trial Realm would even be able to challenge him!

Just as I expected, the plot armour is insane and not a single person is thinking rationally.
Yaan blinked in surprise as those ten fellows were transported away, but he smiled as the next ten arrived, immediately repeating the same scene.

No, it isn’t. Anyone with the ability to think rationally can see through this; it's just a desperate attempt to scare others with killing. But plot armor will surely kick in, and now everyone will be too scared to think rationally.
In the end, he decided that the best way to ensure his safety, was to deter others from challenging him in the first place. Suddenly killing ten people on each of the 1st three levels should be enough to achieve this.

Now it's confirmed that the inheritor spirit is clearly trying to kill the MC. Now if others has atleast even a single brain cell, then they can all just use crowd tactic and easily defeat the MC
"Wait, so everyone knows I'm an inheritor candidate?"
Fantasy · SpicyDaoist
There's a difference between an antihero and a villain. The author tagged this with "villain," so we expect an actual villain, not some naive guy who overlooks hidden threats. Those pregnant women have the ability to activate the Caged Bird, and at this point, the MC is still susceptible to its effects. So the only reason none of these women immediately used the Caged Bird to kill the MC—who destroyed their family and killed their husbands—is just plot armor. This is just poor writing with huge plot holes.
Many people will just drop the book after realising that MC most likely lost his hands permanently. The worst thing is, MC isn't even trying to find a way to get his arms back, but instead busy wasting more than 3000 points to help the womans beside him. He become a fucking cripple to obtain those points, and he just waste it on two NTR bitches. MC is just a virgin edgelord, with two NTR bitches beside him.
challenge the MC when he is exhausted or in a repeated crowd tactic
"The second possibility, is that I actually received the reward already; my title as an inheritor candidate. This position has its downsides, but the perks are undeniable. Others can't reject my challenge, I don't need to wait to challenge them, and I can issue as many challenges as I want every day. It's possible that this is the Apex Grade reward."
Fantasy · SpicyDaoist
are you brain dead? in what situation is this even a reward? . First of all he completely lost his ability to cultivate, and secondly, if people just continuously challenge him he will just die of just due to exhaustion. Because you stupid author didn't think the possibility of people continuously challenging him, if he fight a stronger opponent and won with small injury then the people spectating can see that he was injured. Since there is no time delay between challenge and yaan is forced to fight immediatly after the challenge was issued, he won't get any time to restore his health,or skleep, or cultivate. It's just an indirect death sentence. But then again the author gave MC an godly plot armour, so no oppent will think to instantly challenge MC right after MC get out of the battle.

It's just too annoying to see MC being toyed around by others. And to top it of MC is still naive and doesn't know he is being manipulated. Also what was the point of this whole inheritance? In the end MC didn't get any thing major from it and ended up loosing his only divine treasure. It was such a waste of time
