Also, I didn't see vervain in a weaknesses section. I'm assuming the crystal compound that was spoken about is the vervain equivalent? Anyway, how would you like vervain to Affect him?

By not overpowered I Meant he’s not gonna be strong enough to handle an original like he just did stefan right now. He may be a primordial but the kid has just become a vampire. He doesn’t even know all his abilities. You all remember when the originals were first running around like chickens with their heads cut off before they met the De Martel’s and learned things like compulsion and the ability to heal and create vampires of their own. It’ll be like that. They mystic gang will help him understand what being a vampire is so by the time the originals and werewolves roll into town, he’ll be more than ready
With that I snap his neck and blur him across town toward the Salvatore property. I quickly dump him in his bed after knocking on his door and compelling zach. I'd thought vervain would keep me out of his mind but it was still easy. Huh, So by my calculations I'm immune to sunlight and vervain? Odd. I'd watched all of the originals but didn't finish The vampire diaries. Maybe this was shown in the later seasons?
