Wouldn’t a decent demon with a sneak attack be able to kill him with no trouble? If he doesn’t even notice people talking to him wouldn’t any seam on be able to come up from behind and just stab him to death? How is the mc op in any way? Its more like he’s average with an op power and a glaring weakness anybody who knows he is deaf could take advantage off.
What? How? Can he feel people sneaking up on him with over sensitive skin? This is so bad. There is a lot of ways to compensate for blindness in fiction but not deafness. He will never be able to understand a group discussion, he will allways have to look at them when they are talking. Reading lips also doesn’t work in reality, I will give it a pass as its fiction, but I still think it’s shitting on story immersion. Better sight isn’t compensation for deafness. Either give him his hearing back or read up on how deafness is portrayed in fiction and in real life. Its debilitating and without an actual crouch to compensate, the character will only progress on plot armor and that will get old really fast. Maybe I’m wrong and the story will tackle the issue very well in the coming chapters. But I don’t really thinks so, this feels like it was written by an edgy kid so I don’t have any hopes, what ever. I may read more, I may not, the story has a lot of grammar mistakes aswell and is missing important details, and a lack of understanding of how money and the world functioned in the start 1900. It just feels like a bad attempt at something unique and attention grabbing.
So when I was the age of 13, I spent most of my time studying while also training my senses. I was deaf and that meant I relied heavily on my eyes and I had blind spots. So in order to make up for that, I had to sharpen my instincts and other senses to an extremely high degree.

This story is great. Favorite at the moment, just wish it would update faster.😫 But I hope we soon get a hint to what his bloodline? Kekaigenkai? Is? The mc gotta have his power up some time.😉
