unique ending 🌟
Both these two chapters are really horrifying. Hope the light of the lantern will ignite more sensetion in the next chapter/ chapters to come.

Xander had just used an Enhanced Moon Dust Bomb to clear away the locusts, and the sparkling white powder also seemed to cripple the Ankarog Warriors and Drones. They were all crawling on the ground, shrieking in agony as the dust coating their bodies incinerated their wings and turned their carapaces flaky and brittle.

The reply came in the form of a hoarse whisper which sent shivers down his spine. It wasn't the voice of a beating warm, beating heart, but a hollow, lifeless shell that embodied the cold and unforgiving darkness of the harshest winter.

This is a very interesting chapter. The dialogues between Xander and the blind deity is too impressive. However some questions raised by Xander are also questions also hovering. Hope will get the answers in the next chapters to come.

The deity floating before him was seated atop a red nine-tailed fox whose body was engulfed in a strange black miasma that made it difficult to observe its finer features. The deity herself had a matt black complexion, with bright blue eyes that stared intently at Xander. She was clothed in a blue silk gown decorated with lacy frills which danced in the mellow breeze.

new mission against a new enemy guided by a overconfident psychopath. Let's wait n watch.
Exhausted from repeatedly hacking at the Magma Fiend, Xander stepped back to catch his breath. He realized his normal attacks weren't going to do much against the Ethereal. If he was going to win this duel, he needed to improvise.

Really horrific
Xander instinctively looked at the ceiling, hoping to find more cobwebs and spiders, but what he saw instead, filled him with an unspeakable sense of dread. Hanging from the ceiling was a pair of human heads: one of them belonging to a middle-aged woman and another to a man only slightly older than her.
