There was no need to tell Dan anything since he was probably going to rat her out to her parents if they called him to report her or ask if he had seen her. It wasn't like she needed a key or something to get into his house. She knew that he was yet to deactivate her details from his home's security system, so she could get in pretty easily and hide out in one of the rooms without his knowledge for the time being. All she needed to do was get all that she would need for the time being. The first thing she would do when she gets into the house is to deactivate the security system in the room she would be hiding in and activate that of his bedroom. That way, she would be able to monitor his movement without his knowledge of her in the house.
